Rude and very unprofessional staff. I had my AIS inspection done recently. They listed out the number of un- necessary repairs and when i get to my mechanic . He advised me the breaks pads are worn .When I went back to RACT , they said break pads has 1% life , so as per roadworthy guidelines they had passed that . I never knew we can drive with 1 % break .staff was so aggressive and rude .I spent $1000 for their unnecessary repairs.Please don't risk your life with such pathetic service.

While understanding that a business like this can be busy, the level of customer service is in my recent experience was poor. My car was towed in because of a coolant leak, I had to ring up twice to find out was happening and was made to feel that it was too much bother to answer questions with the attitude being it will be done when it's done. If I had been told it may be up to three days I could have made alternative arrangements to get in and out of Hobart for work. I don't think I would use this business again.

First time using this business for a car service and inspection to register my car in Tassie. I am so happy with the exceptional service from RACT Autoserve. The team is knowledgeable, honest and so professional. I will be back especially to see Gus the Border Collie. Thanks guys!

I used this service to get my car's Roadworthy Certificate, which was required for transfering the vehicle registration from another state to Tasmania. It was very easy to make a booking at RACT Autoserve on a day and time that I wanted and the inspection and report was completed within an hour.The next day I went back again around 4:30 pm without any appointment, to get my new number plates screwed on to my car and they did it within 15 minutes and didn't even charge me for this service!! People here are very friendly and helpful. Thank you, much appreciated your help.I highly recommend this auto service to everyone.

No hesitation recommending Autoserve Hobart. Liam, Enzo and the team very friendly and professional. They promptly performed a Vehicle Inspection. A bonus was they fitted new number plates - a difficult job - “ on the house” — very pleased.

Just had a bunch of work done on my Ute, Liam and Enzo made things so easy and fast. Felt like I wasn’t ripped off in the slightest and the communication was amazing.Will be using these guys moving forward 100%
