I was worried about how to go about disposing of my old car. I wanted it to be used for the parts and bits and pieces. Recycle whatever could be used out of her. I looked on the internet found 2 wreckers and left messages. PowerScrap returned my call straight away. The other wrecker company didn't. The person Zac was very professional advising that he could have a driver pick up the car the next day. He gave me a price which I agreed and true to his word the driver came today and collected the car. The driver completed some vehicle details on the tax invoice and I completed the rest. I took a photo of the tax invoice message it to Zac whose number is on the tax invoice and before the driver arrived back at the wrecker place, the money was in my account. Super efficient and professional. Highly recommend this company due to their professionalism and super efficiency making this experience smooth and easy for me.

Surprised by how poor this service was based on all of the five-star reviews. Called last Thursday (exactly a week ago at time of writing) to arrange a scrap pickup. They followed up the day after to book in Monday morning 9am. Didn't show up. Won't answer calls days after. Time wasters. Go elsewhere.

Don't waste your time I travelled 40min. Was told they have a few of the part I needed. To get there they don't have it because they cannot be bothered checking.

Gave me good price (better than others around offered) for copper pipes and brass fittings. They were quick and frindly even on a Friday afternoon when I only had about 30kg of metals to recycle. It took a few business days for the payment to come through, but it came through.

Not a good experience, eventually paid for the car they picked up.

Went to get paid for scrap steel and cooper wires, put scrap steel on the scale as instructed and weighed to 135 kilo then once weighed we put the cooper cable on and it was 62 kilo and we were told it was 3 dollars then another staff walked in and told us that they don’t pay for scrap steel after we had already moved it onto the scale and then after that they said half the data cable that’s was loaded they suddenly don’t pay for and the rest they will only pay 2 dollars a kilo for very disappointed

Quick, efficient and friendly service! Time between receiving the quote and the car being picked up and taken away was less than 24 hours, and the amount paid for the car was almost double the other quotes I received. Very very happy with the service!

We arrived with our load of metal, nobody directed us where to go.When we got inside we waited around for half an hour, then eventually went looking for someone.The guy had no idea what he was doing and offered us $3 per kg for mains cable, which is okay. But then another guy came out after we had already weighed it and said $2 power kilo.He then offered us $4 per kilo for clean copper ( usually $9)Then he said he wouldn't pay for data cable as it wasn't copper (it was copper, I'm an electrician)He wouldn't pay us at all for 150kg of solid steal.We ended up packing it all back into the trailer a massive waste of timeThey were rude. Never go here.
