Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Brisbane

The room and the foyer to the room had dirty carpet. There was a half eaten corn chip on the floor under the sofa, a bottle top between the cushions. For the price we expected much better than this. With a bit of effort these apts could be really good. Great location, rooms well set up with cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc.

Very nice Hotel. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.Close to the City Hopper ferry via the Felons precinct.Room was very well appointed. Very little noise from the Story Bridge traffic, considering it being right next door.We didn't use the pool, but the area was very well maintained (we could see it from our apartment)I would recommend this establishment to others.

Some odd set up. If you're taller than 5'9 don't stay here

Location and view is absolutely amazing, however I can confidently say that the bed was the hardest and worst bed I’ve ever slept on, and the bathroom smelled of mould. Probably wouldn’t chance this place again based on the bed - only stayed 1 night and had a sore back for a few days following.

If you are not here for clubbing, there is no reason why you should stay here.Room- No extra Pillow and Blankets. The pillows are thin and flat, not comfy at all. Everything else is provided.Parking- 35 bucks a night.Location- yes it's close to public transport, but it's also close to all the night clubs, you can clearly here sreams and police sirens every night.

First off i would like to say we received amazing service from the front desk staff.My wife and myself stayed in a river view balcony room and the views from our balcony were amazing at night. Thankyou for the memorable stay.

Even after booking the hotel 6 months prior in July, they still gave us a room with a city view instead of a harbour view which was disappointing. We also told them our room was for 4 people and they gave us a king and a queen bed even after we specifically asked for at least 2 singles. However they did eventually get room service to split the king into 2 king singles. The pool is quite small however it's temperature was perfect. The key card doesn't work very well at all in the elevator which causes some embarrassing moments in front of other guests. It's a nice location they just need a little refresher on the basics of hospitality and room management.

Would never stay here again. The rooms are dingy and my room faced the highway, so it was so noisy. I had to use ear plugs and my ear phones with white noise to get any sleep. The carpets are awful and have 'stuff' on them. The ladies at the reception are very friendly and accommodating, but I still wouldn't stay here again.

I rate this hotel based on location! It is excellent and very convenient to get to using public transport! It is also located by the wharf where the best eateries are ! The bridge is also near by and can be visible from your room and easy to walk to!There are two separate room behind one door, so it might get noisy when your neighbor arrives.The staff is very accommodating!
