Great experience for an out of town-er - very professional barber of the old school....polite, interested in the client, and expert at his trade! The shop is in Air Raid arcade - an experience in itself.

Best Barber in town. Fair prices, works fast, always gives a good haircut and remembers customers. Good friendly conversations, just like the old barber shops. I always enjoy getting my hair cut here, often come out with a smile on my face. Highly recommend.

Excellent traditional barber shop. Michael is the nicest guy you have ever met highly professional and quick service with minimal cost. You can book or just drop by but be warned he is popular so at times this entails a little bit of waiting. Definitely worth it though. Also uses a straight razor and can get you a great shave if requested.

I was visiting Darwin on a cruise ship when I needed a haircut and was lucky enough to find Michael. He gave me the best haircut at a very reasonable price and a great conversation as well. A very professional haircut that shows he knows what he is doing. Highly recommended.

I am writing this review on my partners account, today I visited Michael whilst on my travels around Australia, I was long due a haircut and I have the same barber in London for 8 years, Michael was extremely welcoming and friendly and great at his job, ensuring I was always happy as he was cutting, I recommend all backpackers in Darwin, if you need a great fresh cut, 100% visit Michael! Cheap and quality! If I was in Darwin for long term he’d be my barber and with 33 years experience he knows what he’s doing !Thanks again Michael for a great cut !Sam
