Signal Box Short Stay

My husband and I had the most wonderful time staying at the Signal Box (Puffing Billy view room). Cherie is a lovely host - kind and so accommodating - and the room was beautiful and tidy. The small wood fire in the room was an extra bonus! We will absolutely stay again. Thanks!

Great host, great view

Amazing hospitality from host Cherie! The fireplace in the room was the absolute stand out cozy feature of this wonderful stay!The Sheridan towels and linen were luxurious! The beautiful welcome basket was really appreciated!We loved the location, short walk into the village where Cherie’s recommendation for dinner was one of the best meals we have had!Highly recommend!

This property is beautifully presented, lovely views across the Puffing Billy railway line to rolling hills. However, for the $300 per night tarrif, this was very overpriced. You have no privacy unless you totally close off the full window and door to your view, as anyone walking past can see straight into your room (Bedroom). For a single room with ensuite, and minimal breakfast options, this should be around $150 per night.

If you are just looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay then this is the place for you stunning views beautiful garden and great hospitality Cherie was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Her freshly squeezed juice was absolutely delish.

Myself and my partner enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. It was beautiful. Just round the block from the main street of gembrook.It was very clean and tidy the bedroom & ensuite. Beautiful garden to look out too. The host Cherie was wonderful and sweet.My partner and I will be back again!

I took my wife to stay at the signal box last night for my wife's 30th birthday. Absolutely perfect. Cherie was a delight to communicate with and the accomodation was devine.we have stayed at many places over the years and i can assure you this place does not dissapoint. The beautiful architecture of the unit, decor and little touches that remind you that you are staying somewhere that the owner clearly cares about. The views from The premises and the top bedroom balcony was a dream. I can recommend turning off the lights at night and looking up at the stars. Beautiful. The pool was amazing. All in all, we could not recommend this beautiful retreat enough. Even the breakfast was yum! Thanks Cherie. We will be back.
