Fascinating and inspiring indigenous art. The studio at back with Mark's work not to be missed. Mary was very hospitable and gave us some history of her and Mark's time and works in Derby.

We went on a day the gallery wasn't officially open but the attendants were gracious enough to allow us to follow behind a school group. We were fortunate enough to get to see the Lester Portraiture Exhibition. The curation and interpretative work was excellent. Overall a very impressive Exhibition which was definitely worth visiting.

the sales rep was rude and offensive saying multiple inappropriate comments to my daughters (8 and 10 yrs old) calling us the rich crew and we should buy the most expensive artwork so they can copy it at home". we didnt buy anything and we won't be back!"

I travel widely in Queensland and NSW and I have to say this is one of the best Aboriginal Art Galleries I have ever been in. These guys are kind and generous with their time, I would highly recommend a visit.

Travelled from Melbourne on a day trip to see this new art gallery and its various exhibitions. Well worth the trip. The gallery and its setting are wonderfull. Peaceful and inviting. There is a dynamic installation from Amrita Hepi called A Call to Echo. It is probably the most interesting and engaging installation in the gallery.

Donation entry; community orientated art, as well as the big names. Not a huge eccentric place, just great for what it's worth. We are a lucky region.

The Poster Guys
Dorothy was so helpful and also very apologetic about something she had no control over. There was a delay in delivery of materials due to COVID 19, but I still think the turnaround time was just fine! And I absolutely love the outcome. If you ever need a poster or artwork framed or mounted please support local business. Thanks Dorothy.
