Very very friendly lady with good knowledge of her wines. We were impressed

I’m usually the sort of person that shops at an independent. But I walked in this shop bought a carton of Heineken was marked 53 on the shelf. Went to pay and was told it was 60 dollars. Lady said that’s the price on the shelf I was a little confused but still bought it. I said while I was there I wanted to check. She came with me and tells me the price in front of the carton is for the one underneath. How dumb can that be. To make thinks worse I walked out and went to BWS also in town it was 46 dollars. Both beers I bought were Australian brewed not imported. You taught me a lesson to question my loyalty to shop at the independent is not always a happy one I don’t mind paying a few bucks extra to fend of the corporate monsters but not anymore.

Bought some booze.
