I stopped over here on a cycling trip. Staff are friendly, helpful and very considerate of travellers' special needs. Meals are very ample and the pub's friendly dogs will offer to help you eat them. Rooms and shared facilities are basic but clean. Breakfast is a much-needed bonus considering the state of the local cafes. Physically, the pub itself is rich in historic character and has ample outside seating.

Had a great night at the pub when caravanning overnight in the Swinging Bridge Free Camp, one of our guys won the meat tray, I won a six pack, the pizzas were great, washed down with a cold one, or two. Staff and locals were super friendly, plus a bonus coffee shop counter in the morning. Worth a stay!

Great country pub and you definitely won't go hungry. Party of 7 all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, I can honestly say the best chicken schnitzel I have ever eaten.

Stayed at the Swinging Bridge Park and enjoyed a great afternoon at the pub watching the AFL. Good cold beer and great service, no meal as the cook had rung in sick.

A pub dog (Barry), a log fire and a motorbike display and it just gets better with the cold beers and excellent food. Outstanding pub and a South Burnett gem.

Beautiful fresh piece of steak cooked to perfection with lovely sides and atmosphere. A lovely local dog that adds to the character and charm of the place as well.ill be going back soon as I can for another steak and ice cold beer on tap.Keep up the good work guys!!

We stayed at The Swinging Bridge free camp area behind the Cooyar Pub. Went to the Pub for take away drinks then back for a meal that night. Absolute friendly service and best meal around, and large. Even the Pub dogs sat at our table knowing very well there'd be left overs. Nice dogs and we'll behaved. Good country Pub. Highly recommend. Well done Cooyar for providing somewhere to stay and eat.

We were free camping behind the hotel, and on Friday night went for dinner. The meals were quick, and there were 3 people serving beers. A great atmosphere. We will be back again thank you Cooyar.

Great country pub with plenty of food and beer options. Well presented with choices of indoor or outdoor areas. Comfy beds with clean facilities. Staff are awesome, thanks for your hospitality Sharon.
