Horrendous customer service.We ordered a bed from them. Took nearly 3 weeks to be fully delivered because they use Hunter Express (who are equally as useless and this is well known in the online shopping world) and when it was it was damaged. We contacted them asking for a refund as a hole in the headboard of a fabric bed is NOT what we ordered, and they’re trying to palm it off as “not visible” and offering only a partial refund.There is also no phone number to contact anyone on, everything has to be done by email which they take far too long to respond to.Absolutely unacceptable. Don’t be drawn in by the cheap prices - it’s not worth it!!

Absolute trash service! Told me an item was coming on Saturday and that I will be contacted when to be home. I get a call just before 6am saying it will arrive 6:30am-7:30am, I wait till 7am and call the person who called me and got no answer. He then calls me back at 7;15am, I tell him my address, he says he came and rang on the door bell, I told him there was a few units with a similar numbers and that I was here. He said they had left, didn’t feel the need to call me at all. So even though, I was awake, I called at 7am, and they didn’t even bother to call me when apparently the door bell wasn’t being answered they decided to head off to Blacktown and that they couldnt come back until Tuesday. Absolute trash.

Pity the Campbelltown store closed. My recliner is damaged where the sponge has all deteriorated after 4 years of use and now have to pay to get it repaired even though we bought manufacturers warranty

Great customer service. Bought furniture that one day broke at no fault of the store but they really worked with me to have it replaced with a different furniture that is less likely to break over time and ran me through several options to ensure I was confident with the newly replaced furniture. Happy to recommend the store to others.

Different name same store. Staff were friendly and very helpful at least what I bought is very poor quality Chinese goods. The bed frame connection had holes for 6 bolts but they give you 4. The bolts were so short it was impossible to thread it together so I had to go to bunnings to get adequate bolts. The tall boys handle holes often didn't match the holes in the drawers so the screws wouldn't pull in tight and left a small but irritating gap between the handle and the drawer. The individually and separately wrapped couch legs were missing some rubber bottoms (staff replaced these) and the screws looked like really shoddy reclaimed ones that the screw driver 'x' was off centre making it a pest to drive in. Maybe it's just the times where moderately priced semi constructed furniture is getting really poor in quality and control.

I ordered a leather queen bed and every has came but they have forgot to give me my bed head with everything else so I can’t even set the bed up at all and this very frustrating for me i would like a refund please not the first time this has happen

I really need replacement for my L Shape sofa. They were sayin closing down sale. And under that i purchased few items. After 3months, sofa’s stitching is off. Hows that??? Even didnt use it properly.I thought they closed down and so didn’t call to anybody. Now its more than a year of this sofa and its stitching is still off. Hve tried 3-4covers but it looks bad. Never buy from john coote and never ever from clearance or closing down sale, they all are fake and its really frustrating when no warranty covers. If i have 0 star, will give that. Thanks,

Got a really great deal from them!Everything got delivered on time as promised and in good shape.I bought a genuine leather six seater couch, a dining table, a big coffee table and a book shelf.I am more than satisfied with the quality and price I paid for them.The guy who helped us in selecting our stuff was extremely supportive and knows everything about furniture.The best part was, he stopped us from buying a sofa, which we almost finalized, that had problems and else suggested us the right thing.. very few sales guys do that!
