Has the best salad sandwich today- beautiful and generously made, crispy fresh. The cakes are tempting too- old style bakery favourites with some interesting continental ones too. Highly recommend.

Look all the time its lovely. But today a new younger person had an attitude mayb the owners have changed. I am not sure. She gave me a burnt vegetable paste I asked for one not burnt no she said it's only brown. If I pay full price I would love a pastie not one left in an oven for too long.

This place is completely lame , we went there yesterday for a morning coffee also to help with local businesses ,not wonder why this one is having trouble , no even milk to make coffee, we bought a few cakes an cookies that tasted absolutely rancid not idea when they were made also my boyfriend feel like adding a banana bread to our shopping the lady gently warned us the price for this piece of ..bread was $18 dollars who made it Jesus ? We're not coming back ever my Geelong experience regarding to food has been absolutely hideous.

Bought 3 croissants this morning (27.6.22) and was told they were freshly baked. Got home and opened the bag and noticed they were soft and the pastry was not flakey. Put one in the microwave for 10secs and all it did was slightly warm the croissant.............put it in for another 10 secs and ended up with glug!! Once bitten twice shy!!

Everything was delicious, fresh, and nice coffee. The staff went the extra mile to make our lunch pleasant, and were great with a very busy, very hungry 4 year old.

It used to be a great place to buy bread, sponge, sandwiches and cake. Then the business was sold. The bread and bread rolls have no crust now and tasted bland with a non breadlike texture. I've stopped going there. Sad because it was a highlight in Pakington Street.As they make all the bread for the Bell Park shop too I guess it's gone the same way.
