Eyes By Design - Optometrist Central Coast

Beware of this optometrist. He saw my demented grandfather and charged him over $1100 for an examination and new glasses. He has private health insurance and they didn't bother asking for it. Furthermore they charge over $120 over the Medicare schedule fee. It is absolutely disgusting the way they preyed on someone so elderly who is clearly not of sound mind.

My Dad lives in a country town with limited health services. He came to stay with us recently and had a consultation with Nick. He was very impressed with the outcome. He was given advice on how to maintain the health of his eyes and vision and now has the right glasses for everyday and driving. He was very happy with the service and loves the frames and comfort of his glasses. We would highly recommend visiting Nick and his team to assess your eye health and vision needs!

My first experience with this team was great, everything was immaculately clean and presented beautifully. Raymond was so friendly and patient with us which made our booking so easy. Raymonds product knowledge and supportive nature was appreciated. Even my old glasses purchased years ago, elsewhere where treated with TLC during my appt. Nick was thorough and explained every process and result as we progressed through the examination. The range of frames was extensive and it is a relief knowing I have quality frames and lenses moving forward. Professionalism and customer satisfaction was second to none. The highest level of care and service have been given to my husband and me by Dr Nick and Raymond. The eye test carried out by Dr Nick was the most thorough I have ever received. Raymond was extremely helpful to us both in choosing from the extensive range of frames available. I can thoroughly recommend Eyes by Design.

I was very happy to be able to use my old frames with new lenses fitted as I feel there is a need to recycle as much as possible. I found Nick and Raymond to be very pleasant and friendly and the shop is modern and bright with plenty of parking available. I have given 4 stars as I had to return my glasses for a replacement of new lenses that needed tweaking, however this was a completely hassle free experience. It may be more expensive than one of the big optometry companies but it is far more personal and doesn't feel rushed.

We were referred to Dr Nick by our GP, for our 6 year old daughter who has been having difficulty reading.His consultation was very thorough, he used age appropriate language and made the directions very easy for my daughter to follow during the examination.

We have recently moved to the Central Coast (Gosford) and we needed a childrens optometrist who could help our child with reading. Dr Nick came recommended and we made an eye appointment and we got some answers as why they were falling behind at school. Very glad we found Eyes by Design and getting the help that was needed.
