I am a 59 year old usually healthy woman who has been training with Michael Hermann PT since early 2017. At the time, I had just come out of some surgeries and was quite weak and carrying too much fat. I wanted to get strong and fit and be able to feel and look good in my ''mother of the bride'' outfit and dance at the wedding of my soon to be married daughter. Michael was recommended to me by my daughter after she saw great results from her own training with him.From the get-go, Michael was aware of my limitations and my fear of injury. Yet he worked out a challenging and safe program that best suited me very well. The exercises are all explained clearly and he makes sure my technique is correct before I progress to the next level. I am now amazed of what I capable of - 2 years ago I could hardly stand up straight, now I can lift dead lifts, do full push-ups, chin ups, my core strength is incredible!The nutrition component of Michael’s work is very helpful too - I've lost about 12kg and dropped 2 dress sizes…a very welcomed side effect of the process. I am back running 5k, playing tennis and doing all the things I loved to do when younger.Michael is very friendly and has expert knowledge in all areas of fitness, rehabilitation and nutrition. He is always positive and helpful whilst promoting confidence in my ability. If you're sitting in the fence about your fitness then book an appointment! The benefits are boundless!Thank you Michael.

I have had a range of personal trainers over the last 5 years and after changing gyms, started training with Michael a year ago. He is by far the most knowledgeable and professional PT I’ve ever trained with. Michael really took the time to understand my goals and to create a program that worked for me. This includes fitting in around a pretty hectic work schedule. He also supports the training with some awesome resources that increase your knowledge of training, stretching and nutrition....and has some seriously killer playlists!!!!!. I have seen amazing results in the last year and if you are looking for a awesome personal trainer I definitely recommend Michael.

As someone who wasn’t previously an avid gym goer, his friendly and patient nature has helped improve my confidence in the gym. Work outs are varied, challenging and personalised and Michael is supportive and committed to helping you meet your individual goals. Highly recommend!

I have been training with Michael Hermann PT and Performance Revolution online for close to 12 months. I use my local gym with the programs that is linked to a fitness app. We have not long come back from a 2 - month caravan trip without internet and Michael had downloaded workouts for the entire trip. He is very thorough and is contactable all the time. I get reviewed once a week and send him videos to get my form right.

Mike was excellent in supporting me to rebuild muscle, come back from a hip injury and concentrate on proper form after having my first baby. I trained with Mike also doing the program also whilst pregnant with my second child and had more regular PT support also. Great communication, he keeps you accountable and very responsive if you do need any adhoc support. Highly recommend!

I have been training with Michael for 3 years nearly and have gone from being not able to lift my dog to being able to bench press a barbell. Before I started I had never set foot in a gym and now I feel confident in my abilities and enjoy going.Michael and his team provide me with 3 workouts a week, 2 of which I do on my own in the gym. Why I recommend Michael as your PT in dot points:- Very professional and easy to build good rapport with.- Supports and guides you through each workouts/sessions as you work your way up.- Really patience, especially as a first timer.- Knowledgeable, so ask away. I’ve been training with Michael since late January 2023 and have been nothing short of astounded at the hard work and dedication he puts into his work. The platform he uses is easy to interface with and allows for compatibility between other apps to cross share information. So far I’m down 10kg and am well on the way to losing more. He has provided me with support training face to face, dietician and nutrition support and advice, and a training routine that is easy to follow and is individualised. I had debated for a long time whether or not to pursue personal training and support and wish that I had done this a lot sooner! The benefits have been many, my energy levels have improved (which after years of shift work and night shifts had plateud), and I’m enjoying learning more about the functionality of my body and the nutrition side of things. All of these are lifelong learning tools that I can utilise for the rest of my life and continue my fitness journey!
