Looksmart Alterations

Very very unprofessional..when I went to pickup my jumper this afternoon, one lady staff can not find my jumper and turned out they forgot to restich my jumper..when I asked for refund, the lady said she just worked as casual and do not know how to do refunding. When I asked her to call manager, she replied no Manager's number and insisted to restich my jumper right away instead of refunding. Extremely terrible experience, never come back again.

Had alterations done to two jeans and a nurses scrub today. Lady at the front, Gigi, was professional and polite. I paid extra for express and my clothes were ready for pick up before time. Good job done on the alterations although it was nothing complicated. Bit pricey but all in all good service. Would recommend.

My work trousers were too long. I took them to Looksmart alterations at Belmont Forum. They measured the correct lengths and marked them out. They asked me to pick them up in two days and when I did, they were all done. They repairs were very well done and the charges were very fair. Thank you, Looksmart-Belmont Forum.

I took 5 items in, they agreed to alter 3. I asked for a leather skirt to be taken in & they took it in from the front seam only, adding a seam to the waist band & changing the shape of the waist band. The skirt now sits wrong & I'll need to redo it. Asked for a dress to be turned into a skirt, they didn't create a waist band & it was done poorly, could have done it myself. Asked for the arms on a silk dress to be widened, they claim they did this & charged me but I can't see any evidence it was done.All 3 jobs were expensive, plus I was told leather should have cost me more again but the sales lady got the price wrong being new.Don't go here for anything more technical than hemming pants or replacing zippers. They also didn't iron anything.

Jacket replaced silk lining. Used the right material and colour. Looks well done. Lining is a little loose, however, I'm told the lining will shrink with dry cleaning. Getting dry cleaning now and we'll see.Julian

Had a suit put in for a wedding a week before, needed to be picked up on the day. Had set time to pick up and wasn't even near done!!! She guaranteed is that it would be completed on time when we dropped the suit off as we had a 5hr drive ahead of us. She refused to let us talk or even get or money back.....and would let us take the suit either and said that she had to do it....she said come back in a hour no to good enough in my books. Had a poor experience and will never be coming back again or recommending!!

Had a blazer that was big for my size, went to get it altered. After inspecting, it fit very well and comfortable. Reception was a pleasant experience and very nice

Gigi was extremely helpful. My dress was repaired with in a couple of days. They were reasonably priced and the turnaround was fastWould definitely recommend and will be going back.

I placed my suit on Monday to get minor alterations done with a request for it to be completed by Friday more due to having a wedding 5hrs away, they agreed and stated it would be ready Wednesday for collect Friday(due to them being closed Thursday).I arrived Friday at the collection time to be told that they needed another hour due to them losing it in the store. The lady refused to talk to me about any form of compensation and proceeded to tell me it would take hrs because they had to many orders ahead of me
