Stuart Park Surgery and Darwin After Hours Medical Service

Experienced and patient doctors who actually care and are not after fitting in as many patients as they can to bulk bill in ten minute increments. For best service and up to date medical knowledge and care you simply can't go past this practice. Be careful not to mix it up with the one near Officeworks!

This company is a complete joke. I called to get a doctor in my area. Website says you’ll wait 3 hours in most cases. I waited five hours for them to call me first and charge me for a Telehealth consult because there’s no doctors in my area that can see me face to face, despite the fact that it is supposed to be bulk billed. Then I waited another hour for the doctor to call me to actually speak to me. He did not ask a single medical question but did prescribe me the script I needed. After this, the script was texted to me in a format that didn’t work!!!! The app they used is taking a break for 2022. The link in the text message went to a weblink that said it worked but the pharmacy did not receive it. Then I had to call them back to get them to resend the script and they didn’t answer!! Instead they directed me to a form to fill out and also an email address that I could email. I need my script asap which is why I called the home doctor. Not being able to get my script or speak to anyone about when it would be ready is ridiculous. I now have to go to another home doctor service and wait another 5+ hours for another prescription. Your business shouldn’t be allowed to operate. This is the worst medical care I have ever received.

I have been seeing the same GP here for over 10 years he is always on time efficient and some one you can trust to be thorough, always makes the time to listen. The receptionists are friendly and go the extra mile to help patients, you can tell they make a good team from the Aura in the office.A lot of Doctors surgery's today you are just a number. Great surgery and doctors, but I can’t find a contact for them other than a business hours number. You can’t email or text them, or book online.

Have been going here for years. It can be hard to get an appointment but I can’t fault the service or level of care. A great local practice.

I have always had a great experience with this surgery and I personally do not know of any clinic in Australia that would give a partial refund for a 20 minute wait. The doctors and staff at Stuart park are excellent and I would never hesitate to recommend their services.

I assumed that at a non bulk-billing medical centre where you pay $70 up front that there is no wait to see the doctor. I waited almost 20 minutes, and I know of a doctors surgery I've attended in Melbourne would give a partial refund for that, or at least apologise for the wait. The doctor claimed to be new to the surgery but I would have guessed he was new to practising medicine. I certainly won't be wasting my time or money again.

We needed to see a doctor in Darwin. Being from the Gold Coast and in Darwin for the first time, we had no idea where to go. Found this surgery on the internet, our only regret is that the doctors were not on the Gold Coast, what professional, comprehensive, caring and polite people. We don’t want to go back to the doctors in a hurry but if we need to, this is the practice without doubt.Love to all you guysGraham and Kathy

Doctor was very nice and the nurse was very nice, however one of the receptionists was very rude obnoxious and unapologetic.. I called ahead asking for an appointment to see the nurse to get b12 injections, was informed I would need to see the doctor first to get a script.. I did this and the pharmacist told me that I didn't need a script for b12 injections.. So I was charged $85 to see the doctor for a prescription I didn't need.. The receptionist neither apologised or acknowledged she had given me misinformation but was instead very obnoxious about it.. To top it off really rude when asking her to put through my rebate.. which didn't go through!

One of the best clinics in Darwin and Dr. Bhavya is the best doctor I have consulted with! She is patient and takes time to understand the patient's medical history and is very clear about her communications. The receptionists are also accomodating about appointments.
