Excellent selection of records and a good mix of all genres. Particularly good for Japanese Jazz fans as there is a good selection of J Jazz records in store you probably won’t find elsewhere. The store owner was very helpful as well.

A gem of a shop for quality records and reconditioned record players. I've been visiting for years because there is always something interesting and some classic finds. I rarely leave empty handed, even when I've been on a budget.The owner is highly knowledgeable, and has a great way to put you at ease.I've bought a couple of turntables and speakers, amp set-up from here and love them.It's easy to be covid safe here: either browse online and pick up from the shop, or browse in person. Conveniently hand sanitiser is available at the door and reminders to wear your fitted mask and check in.A longtime favourite place to visit.

Thank you, to the service attendant, for actually yelling at my 8 year old for touching, one of his record player's!When he didn't touch it and it was already left the way my son found it.An absolute over reaction, the comment was to go find another'shop to distroy that's a diamond tip you know!Extremely rude, my son left the shop hysterically crying, Hopefully you feel good about yourself .

Wonderful place and wonderful man. I purchased a copy of Blood and Black Lace and Ny Voyage to Italy on dvd a while back and I am very happy with everything. I love the atmosphere and the ambience and the dog is a nice touch.

So far my favourite record store in Australia. A lot of interesting Japanese jazz lps you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Good prices too.

In a city with so many great record shops, this one is a bit special. Always an interesting browse, so much imported goodness. It’s impossible to resist on any visit to the area for anyone interested in vinyl and reason enough to go on its own.

I THINK I GOT FLIPPED OFF BY THE OWNER?? LOL?? anyway going to post another 1-star in solidarity with the mother with the crying child here, because this super-typically uptight northcote hifi guy has all of his high-end tables everywhere all over the floor waiting to be stepped on, stumbled into or messed with.from reading the only other 1 star review amongst all the other uhh da store was nice 5 star" reviews

Where else can you find probably the biggest collection of Japanese anime and jazz vinyl I've ever seen! Only recently discovered the vast collection these guys have and will definitely be frequenting more often. Already regretting not buying the Kamen Rider vinyl I saw haha.
