Spent a night here and whilst this was a nice campsite there were two groups of campers that decided to party late into the night. Having a few lemon squash’s is cool but playing music through the night is not.Camp areas were fairly level but there aren’t many as this is a small site. There is a drop toilet her also. Highway is right next to the campsite so you will hear vehicles through the night.

I have camped at the Pines campground just down the road a few times over the last few years, but with the heavy rains during 2022, the dam was a lot higher than previously which meant that the wide bank of the dam that we were used to camping on was underwater. So my partner and I went to the Humes crossing campsite instead, which also must have been impacted by the high water level. The Humes Crossing campsite had a bit of tree cover. In addition to the high water level, there is limited space with low grass which restricted space for camping. It looked like there were some spots a bit away from the campsites that can be accessed with a 4wd. It is very much a first in best dressed scenario, however well worth stopping in.

Beautiful campsite on the lake. Quite close to the road but the noise wasn’t intrusive. A perfect spot for a summer getaway

Beautiful spot! There is toilets, fire bbqs and picnic tables. If you're camping you have to book through national parks. Only complaint I have this visit is the roads washed away after the recent rains.

One of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. I felt truely one with nature! And not to mention the 100 kangaroos we saw around. It is a lovely campground. No facilities but still very well worth the visit.

Nice NSW Parks campground with easy access to the water for water-sports.Camp grounds themselves are easily accessible with nice open areas. There are some picnic tables but they are a little run down. There are long drop toilets in the camp grounds. There is a turnaround area at the end of campground which is a little tight; nothing horrendous, just more of something to note for those with large vans.Road in was easily accessible, but there are some large potholes and washed out areas.

The view at this campground is stunning. The campground facilities are pretty minimal - long drop toilets (but no handwashing facilities), a few picnic benches, and a few fire pits. There are large shady trees and the road is accessible to non 4WD vehicles, however the road is pretty uneven and divited on the downhill section to the lake boat access area. Pleasant area, but make sure you bring your own water, toilet paper, and showering facilities. There is also no bin, no pets allowed, and bookings currently required via waters NSW website.

Great place for camping or staying full day.Toilet is available as wellMobile coverage is ok but it depends on your mobile phone provider.Proper 4wd is recommended if wana look around and explore the areaBeware of surface springs and running water in some areas as your vehicle may get stuck in mud badly.Just 1 hour drive from Wagga WaggaHighly recommended for neutral lovers. The lake scenery is spectacular for professional photography.
