Sam and his team put in a new kitchen, including floor tiles, new carpeting in other parts of our house, sanded and polished our timber floor and did renovation work in our bathrooms.We are very very happy with the result.Among the positives we count the following:- One stop shop - The fact that we could have everything we needed done through one coordinated service.- Advice - Whilst we had our own ideas of what we wanted Sam gave us useful advice based on his experience which turned out to be very beneficial to us.- Honesty - what was promised was delivered. The time frames were reasonable and we were kept up to date on any changes.- Quality - The team took pride in their work and the outcome was very satisfying.- Cost we consider that the price was very competitive and saved us from a greater sum and length of time as well as hassle had we undertaken the operation as separate tasks.So overall we were left with a good feeling having taken the plunge into the unknown risk that renovations sometimes present.Sam and his team are friendly and knowledgeable and we would give them our strongest recommendation.(And if you have an old piano as we did you can invite quite a number of the tradies to show you their consummate abilities at tinkling the ivory as well...!)UPDATE: We sold our house following the renovations and got a fantastic price that we are extremely happy about!

Sam and his team are amazing.Sam not only did a full renovation of my 2 bedroom unit from the replacement of kitchen, bathrooms, floors, wardrobes, tiling, waterproofing… he arranged all required trades and sourced all fixtures and fittings resulting in a stress free renovation.The entire team were not only friendly, accommodating and professional but their work was exemplary. There was not and has not been issue with the workmanship.Knowing I was on a tight deadline - 4 weeks - his team attended daily morning till afternoon to ensure the full unit renovation was complete for my move in date. And it was!!? And a further bonus he was very reasonably priced.I cannot recommend Sam highly enough.

After months of shopping about, finally called in SOS Building Solutions to complete major renovations on 2 big sized bathrooms at my house. Our amazing “granny flat builder” love you Sam such an amazing job from Sam and his team- my Dads garage is now this- with 2 bedrooms, living/ dining, kitchen & laundry. His workers are amazing - doing really long hrs 6 days a week & the loveliest guys, nothing was too much trouble, he also did the most amazing full Reno on my Mum & Dads house. Rewiring and upgrading of our meter box was done as well as plumbing and pipe work for the new outdoor kitchen. The purchase of an original 1950s house on Sydney's North Shore presented us with a serious challenge.The dilapidated kitchen was literally falling apart and had to be rescued immediately if our busy family of four was to function.Everything else could wait, but not the kitchen.On a tight budget due to having just borrowed to buy the house, we engaged Sam at SOS Building Solutions which turned out to be one of our smartest moves ever.We could not believe what Sam was able to achieve within our budget. Sam and his team showed up each time, on time as promised. His team helped out beyond the scope, with moving furniture, their own thoughts and ideas. My wife and I were referred to SOS Building Solutions by a work mate. Prior to meeting him we had 9 different other contractor come visit the site and quote us. We went from enthusiastic of wanting to get the renovation done to OH MY GOD!!!! Why do we even have to do this??? The amount of stress and do’s and don’ts was driving us crazy….Then came Sam… or how we love calling him Uncle Sam!
