Best times ever down there...if you guys are looking for a job in a nice and relaxing town....this is the one...the backpacker will help you to find you a place to work pretty easily if its the season and if its not you can still go have a look on the little shop to ask them if they dont have one or if they dont know anyone who would get one...

This is honestly the best yha I have ever visited. We booked 3 beds in a 6 bed dorm. It didn't feel like staying in a hostel at all, as we were handed keys to a fully equipped 3bedroom house with a huge kitchen, living room, veranda and garden. Most unusual, I would recommend it anytime!!

hike the Bibbulmun track, stayed here for a night, only cost $20 /bed per night, can’t find anywhere cheaper then this! owner and other tenants also friendly, nothing to complain about, only things they might not pick up the phone regularly, as owner not always in the office, could actually just walk in and get your bed here. (office by the back of main building)

I cannot believe I have to put a star to review this place. The building is literally falling apart, dirty, old, not taken care off, the roof has holes on it. There is no reception, no guests, no one. The only people that stay at the Bibbulmun Track hikers and I honestly don’t understand how. I went to check in, no one there, reception is an empty room with “reception” in the entrance but has some old and dusty furniture. Went into a room (they’re all unlocked). Dirty floor, smelly - absolute disaster! There was a number to call on a wall so called and the owner and said “just leave $20 in a cupboard and stay there”.I later found out the block is on sale so I guess the owners don’t care anymore. Make yourself a favour and don’t stay there.

Pretty much stayed here for 2 weeks because we were desperate. The kitchens ok because they clean it daily however everything else is filthy and need to be either cleaned or repaired. The shower/ toilet block is horrible and is only cleaned once a week from what i can tell. The one star is for the walking distance to the cafe across the road and you just have to walk up the 100m hill to get to iga. Hope this helps people.
