Layne you are amazing!!!My husband and I would like to say a huge huge THANK YOU to the amazing LAYNE for donating her own time to come and tend to my daughters hair while admitted in the Qld Children’s Hospital .Out of the goodness of her heart, Layne came to the QLD Children’s Hospital on Saturday arvo expecting nothing in return except the satisfaction of helping my 15 year old daughter save and keep her gorgeous long hair.My daughter had an extremely serious dirt bike accident on May 20th and was airlifted to QCHosp. She was in an induced coma and has a long recovery time ahead of her, but is improving more and more each day.I wasn’t able to wash her hair at all during this time until recently, so her long hair was extremely matted from all the agitated moving around in the bed once she woke from the coma.After multiple attempts to brush/comb the matting out with various brushes, combs, oils and products we were convinced we would have to shave it off, we didn’t know what else to do.My sister was walking past the salon “Brushed N Co” and went in to ask advice about any products or special brushes to use so we could avoid shaving her hair off.After hearing our predicament, Layne didn’t hesitate at all to help us out and offered to travel to the hospital to have a go at removing the matting herself.On the Saturday evening she came and spent 5hrs of her own time carefully and patiently working on my daughters hair and managed to save it from being shaved off. Layne didn’t expect or ask for anything in return.My daughter is soo soo grateful and so are we because we knew that losing her hair would be very mentally distressing for her, on top of everything else she has to deal with.Layne you are an amazing human being with great empathy and compassion for others. You are amazing at what u do and even though we normally live an hour drive from Brushed n Co salon, we will definitely drive the distance to now be your clients from here forward.THANK YOU IMMENSELY !!!!Maria, Tim, Jess and Emma ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love coming to Brushed and Co, it’s such a vibe and the girls are all so friendly. Chrissie does my hair and she will never say I can do something to my hair that won’t work, she is just so honest. Love this place!!!

Where to start! The girls at Brushed n Co are amazing. Your appointment will run like a professional salon, but, you will feel like you are at your friends place relaxing and chatting. I was going in for colour correction, the girls gave me all the info I needed to have realistic expectations. The pricing is affordable for amazing work. I’ve found my forever salon and recommend the girls to anyone that wants a friendly environment, quality work and affordable pricing.

This great local salon gave me the best experience when I had my first Keratin smoothing treatment! And my word i will be back!! If you are like me and have hair that does not love the humidity of summer and to dry my hair smooth is a bit of a chore.... do yourself a favour and do this treatment!!! It cuts my drying time down to HALF the time and my hair remains frizz free even in rain and after the gym!Tegan and her team know exactly how to treat their guests at the salon - with complimentary drinks, cheese and a beautiful hand scrub i felt absolutely amazing after my trip to this great hidden gem! Thanks Tegan and your amazing team at Brushed and Co!!

Thank you Tegan for transforming my disjointed short hairstyle into a style that blends together and shapes my face. I feel years younger. Tegan spent a lot of time with me to find out was I liked and disliked about my hair and gave fantastic advice. I will be recommending you to all my friends and will be returning in a couple of months.

Cannot recommend this salon more highly! Firstly I have extremely curly hair and always find the hair washing & detangling and painful, last time I was there I almost fell asleep I was so relaxed! They bring out goodies and drinks and really help you understand what the end goal is for your hair. The staff are lovely and it’s a breath of fresh air to hear apprentices being treated with respect & equal to the managers. I love this salon & everything about them! Thank you a million times over!

Came to Tegan as a home hairdresser during the pandemic. But I stayed because she is the best hair dresser I have ever come across — both in quality of service and knowledge AND easy to talk to (important for a hair dresser no?!) Since then I have watched Tegan thrive and transform her at home hair dressing business into a full blown salon. Affordable quality hair dressing!!
