Kiwi Fish and Chips
For a change, a short review. Had a simple fare of fish and chips. Food was what you’d expect. Fish was okay but nothing outstanding. Hot chips were good. The portion size okay. You can dine in or takeaway. The eating area looks quite inviting with its warm big timber table. Liked the picture in the window written by a child. Put a smile on my face.Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly.

Kiwi Fish and Chips
I have tried here few times on my way to Fitzroy Garden for picnics. The chips are average, potatoes cakes are good, Salmon wrap is great. Not much great options for vegetarians except for the Japanese pancake and potato cake burger filling for a meal! Unfortunately East Melbourne doesn't have much option like the neighbouring suburbs

Great food, best fish and chips in Melbourne, and maybe whole of Australia. Reasonable pricing too. Went there twice with the family, will go again whenever we're in Melbourne. Highly recommended for everyone !!

Kiwi Fish and Chips
With a change in ownership, the quality has gone downhill. No longer a local worthy of supporting. Half the chips were cooked, the oil tasted like it had been around the loop a few times. The potato cakes more like mash potato. So glad didn’t get fish this time around!Not worthy of its ‘Kiwi fishy’ chips’ name
