Ramsay Clinic Thirroul

I have been to another hospital in the past (revolving door at 1 stage) and this is by far the best, the staff , Dr's and every other teams involve from the Receptionist's to cleaners & cooking ladies are just so caring and accomodating. Tough the few days coming in getting my bearings around my head and the center being a new enviroment yet The program is soft yet at times can be hard but works on the word" Trauma which ive been longing for so many years. Of course its a rollercoaster yet i feel better just in 2 weeks

The most incredible hospital I’ve been to that specialises in trauma for women. The safest hospital environment I’ve been in, I was able to sleep for the first time feeling safe, I learnt so many new skills and why my body and brain responded the way they do because of trauma and I was made to feel NORMAL. The staff worked with me, they listened. The entire hospital has an amazing set and it’s so close to cafes and beach to get out for exercise and well-being. I felt listened to by the health professional and that I was getting better with coping.

As an inpatient regarding ongoing programs at the Ramsay Clinic Thirroul, I honestly have no complaints, only praise for this wonderful facility. It amazes me that this is the only trauma center for women in Australia, what a disgrace on behalf of the Australian health sector.The programs have been well thought out and minimize the grief and past trauma relating to the clients. The staff are very professional in their roles and go above and beyond to accommodate situations if/as they arise.From maintenance, kitchen, and domestic, facilitators, front desk, and nursing staff are all very polite and approachable. The psychiatrists within the clinic are professional, amazing, and have only the client's interest at heart.Sleep hygiene, diet, and exercise are priorities within the clinic, and so is creative art therapy.I highly recommend this facility/clinic for women struggling with trauma/mental health.
