Dāna Eating House
We popped in for a quick feed and we were not disappointed. We had the kingfish sashimi, chicken dumplings, pork belly, fried eggplant and crispy chicken. All the dishes were bursting with Asian inspired flavours and cooked to perfection. The dishes were well explained by the waiter. The cocktails were also excellent and went very well with our meal.

We have a great dinner experience in Dana Eating House. They have great staff with brilliant Asian cuisine. We tried the two people ‘chef feed me’ package, they are good and tasty.I recommend if the package could give customer options for choosing, that would be better. Thanks for the brilliant dinner!

We had an amazing night, so I had to go on here and write a review.First, we felt really welcome, the staff checked us in early and we had a table immediately, we did book to make sure we had a table for the last night in Hobart.We chose a four-course feed me $80. All the plates tasted amazing. I’m really impressed with the kingfish sashimi. We felt so full after finishing everything. A reminder is there’s no dessert within the course. I would think the chef should remove one entree out of the course and replace it with a small dessert and it would be great. However, the experiences are still memorable. And the main course with the fish, i think it should be a bit saltier, great job for steaming the fish with ginger to remove the smelly taste.With the radish, it tasted good, but it’s kind of not balance with the miso, or it is just my personal taste.I will definitely come back if i had a chance.

Group of 6 dined here on our first night in Hobart from NSW and it was a fabulous start to our holiday. We were made to feel very special from the moment we entered. All meal and drink options were mouthwatering and we were happily guided by our waiter's recommendations which were perfect. We shared plates, starting with the cashews and a mix of oysters, followed by the brisket, duck and lamb with a side of baked cauliflower. All were complimented with sensational wines and cocktails. Totally enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning someday. Thank you.

Holy moly the food here is AMAZING!!! Had the $65 set menu and they substituted the seafood for silken tofu which was absolutely amazing. Staff were awesome and friendly, whilst remaining professional. Will definitely be going there again, thanks team!

Located in a very convenient place and atmosphere in side the restaurant is very good. Set-up inside is eye catching. Very friendly customer service. Waiting time is reasonable. But the quantity of dishes are too small for the price. Also, they have some strong flavours and too much of salt in food.

I went to Dana on the 17th of February 2023. My expectation was high seeing a 4.7 stars review on Google but I would say my overall experience is bad.First, we waited almost an hour for 2 of our dishes. I ordered 2 dishes: the braised beef and pad see ew. The braised beef was very tough and dry. The flavour of the beef is just alright. It also looks very unappetizing with just a dark black colour. For pad see ew, I was expecting pad see ew to be dry but it was really watery. The beef in pad see ew also has a strong meat smell which I believe it was because it wasn't cooked through. I can see the beef in pad see ew to be raw inside. I was really disappointed with the food.On the good side, the staff was nice but they didn't ask us about the food. Also the place was alright.

Hello ReadersDāna Eating house has a great atmosphere. We were welcomed by a good host who was accomodating our special seating request which was a good detail of him.We ordered the Chef Feed me option for 3. The food was not bad but to be completely honest too small and not even desert. It’s more convenient to go a la carte.We still recommend them.
