Leaning Church Vineyard
We drove specially to this vineyard, while it’s website, google and the wine trails magazine says is open 7 days a week. I am very disappointed to find it closed. Better get you’re times sorted!

Lovely experience wine tasting at Leaning Church. We wandered around the gardens a little and had great service and tasted amazing wine. Highly recommended.

Great wines and a beautiful cellar door - Well rated by Halliday, we enjoyed a nice tasting and a picnic / platter with fresh smoked meats, salmon, cheese with views overlooking the vines - Service was friendly, fun, relaxed and personal. Would head back!

Ian was an excellent host and had a nice selection of whites and a pinot on offer for tasting. The church building has been refitted to create an excellent atmosphere for groups of any size. We walked out with a handful of bottles and will definitely be returning again.

We stopped at Leaning Church for a lunch and tasting and had a very pleasant experience. We were warmly received, the owner herself did the tasting. She was generous and enthusiastic, and her wines are well-made. We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch grazing platter. There's a little play area for kids as well. Overall it has an artisanal, non-commercial vibe. Highly recommended.

Five stars all around for this beautiful new vineyard.The wines are all superb and we couldn't help ourselves buying one of each!The old church tasting area is beautifully done and Ian is a perfect hostDefinitely worth putting this on your Tassie Wine Tour map
