The Lemon in the tart is delightful, however the base comes with a thin layer of gelatine on it WHICH THE CHEF TOLD ME HIMSELF.I was not AFRAIDTo come in as the reply states, infact i showed the chef who told me it was Gelatin. So someone is lying or doesnt know the recipe. Shame.

Cakeboi goes alright. Consistency is the name of the game, you always know what you are going to get. Coffee is great, cakes are on point and the owner has sass. 5 stars

When you walk in, your automatically drawn to the variety of cakes on display and what's so good about this place? All the cakes are made on the premises and sold by the slice and once the cake is gone its gone for the day. It's a testament to their quality and taste when you see them disappear quickly!

Enjoy variety of cakes this shop provides and very happy with everything we ordered, has to even repeated some menu to take home. Vanilla slide is excellent, would really recommend. Only tiny issue with my hot chocolate, it's not hot or even warm. A bit warm hot chocolate will complement my cake even more.

Went there on Saturday, 26th February 2022. Lovely customer service, yummy cakes and delicious drinks plus no cockatoo attacking those sunflowers. What’s not to love?? We’ll be back!! ❤️ Check out name of cakes on each photo caption.

What do you do when visiting the Hunter Valley from Queensland … you take a trip to Cake Boi, of course. After watching your journey online, we had the opportunity to pop in this morning for coffee and cake. Wow is an understatement. I would have shared a photo of the Lemon Tart and Persian Cake that we ordered, but sadly we had devoured them before having the chance to. It was well worth the visit and big call, but was one (two) of the best cakes we have ever tasted. The Gold Coast would love you Cake Boi … it would be a great place consider a new location! :) Thanks for the treat and we look forward to visiting again one day soon! Well done to Reece and the team.

Always a fabulous experience at Cake Boi with Reece Hignell. Friendly and helpful staff. Each day Reece has a variety of cakes, biscuits, slices and the wagon wheels are a must try!Every second Sunday Reece hosts a high tea, two seatings both am and pm, a perfect way to spend a relaxing Sunday. If you are in the area, you won’t regret stopping by!
