Australia Post - Scarborough LPO

I usually love this place however about a month ago a young male staff member rolled his eyes at me as I had a few packages to send, stamps and prepaid envelopes to purchase. I was a little shocked.

Many years of fine service with no problems with great customer service, extremely trustworthy staff and friendly with a smile.Hard to come by old school services these days, thats why I keep going back. Moved 20 km away and still go back due to the easy access parking and No horrible long waits in ques. And Yes, the million dollar views are Free when visiting this great part of Scarborough. Always friendly, always helpful. To the person wanting foreign currency and gave a bad review - I wanted Kina earlier this year and had absoutey no trouble. Quickly arranged and quickly supplied.

This is the best post office in Queensland, I drive right past the Redcliffe post office most days to get to the Scarborough post office for several reasons. Jeannette and Lyn are a real treat, friendly with great sense of humour, they're always efficient, accurate, open on time, and if you've been there before they take care to remember you which is so rare these days. It's super clean, has beautiful gift lines, is right across from a lovely beach surrounded by grassy treed parks and dog friendly coffee shops. Lots of parking too. You can see why I make a beeline for this great family business. I don't know what that other reviewer meant about losing parcels, I get a couple a week and no trouble ever! I've lived in a lot of places and find this business a no brainer to highly recommend!!

Great little post office on a lovely beach. The staff are always friendly and professional everytime I visit this end of town.

I have been using this Post office for over 22 years and have never had such poor customer service. As well any parcels being routinely lost" and then miraculously appearing with no apology despite tracking systems stating they had been there for at least a week. Will be formally complaining to Australia Post"
