The service was friendly and fast, l got my reservation very wrong but the team still accommodated us with a smile. Great atmosphere and location for a drink and meal to watch the sun go down. The loaded fries were so plentiful we couldn’t finish the dish. We will return, the menu has changed in the last 2 months which the website didn’t reflect when we attended on the 22/12, it may now. We will return the prices and menu items are reasonable for what is on offer with the great view.

Located by the strand Townsville, this restaurant offers a spacious view overlooking the sea.We were seated shortly with very little wait time. The staff was friendly and efficient. This beachfront restaurant had a modern Australian vibe with surfboards decorations.We ordered the waffle fries, salt & pepper squid, Hawaiian wings as well as the prawn and baja tacos. We also appreciated that the menu is labelled with vegetarian, dairy and gluten free option - really useful if you have any dietary restrictions.Overall, the warm locale ambiance with the beachfront view makes this a good place to visit in Townsville.

A spacious place overlooking the sea, on the strand. Ideal for big groups to chill over a hot afternoon. They serve variety of beers and good wings. Tried their tacos which was also good. Definitely recommend a visit

COLD FOOD. They make food god knows how long before in advance. Served cold. All multiple dishes were all served cold. No wonder it wasn't busy.

The staff is very nice, good people doing everything to ensure customers have a good time.However I want to make a note on the owner's behaviour with staff and customers. Not only do I know he doesn't pay the right wages to his staff, but I have also heard claims of him being rude and doing unfair things. On top of this, I know he is ok with lying about anything to make himself look better.

I have been a regular at Longboard since I moved to Townsville 4 years ago and I think these guys exceed expectations every time. They are consistent with their food quality, atmosphere, experience, customer service and are always respectful and welcoming. Highly recommend. Thanks for getting me hooked LB! :)

Beautiful location right by the ocean.Meals came out quick and the bar man was happy to make a variety of mocktails. I got a mojito mocktail and it was pretty good. Overall the service was quite disorganised with multiple waiters tending to our table throughout the night. A waitress took my plate before I was finished cleaning up.The vegan option for the buffalo cauliflower tacos doesn't include the buffalo sauce unfortunately. It would be great to include a vegan alternative to the buffalo sauce if having the option of making the dish vegan. Otherwise, I don't recommend ordering this, it's quite flavourless.The meals were overall average with the prices being on the higher end. Burgers are around $22 and don't include fries. Portion sizes decent.
