Embarrassingly bad customer service. Non-compliant with indoor mask restriction.I was the only customer on a Saturday morning and it took 15 minutes (and me trying to put together a flat-lay) before one of the 3 staff members came to greet me. The staff member was not wearing a mask and appeared completely disinterested in helping with tile selections. I had no assistance with getting sample tiles from high shelves to have a closer look.Please do not visit.

Huge selection of tiles. Probably not the cheapest place to buy tiles, but the choice and quality is excellent. Staff are really knowledgeable and are great at making suggestions.We ended up opting for a tile that we simply hadn't seen anywhere else and which was a bit more expensive than we had budgeted for but the staff were really helpful in making the price a little more attractive.Pick up was quick and easy with no wait.Overall we're very pleased and can't wait to get them on the walls!

I recently purchased a place and wanted to do a bathroom reno and needed help with tiles. My initial visit, sales associate Juliette gave me some amazing insight to work with my plans. We looked at different tiles together, chatted through issues and concerns. I then came back a few weeks later and Amanda helped me out and was extremely helpful too. They both listened to all my questions and queries with professionalism and care for the customer. Amanda helped seal the deal and I cannot wait for my tiles! Thank you!

Don't waste your time. Got there at 2.45pm with advertised closing time of 3pm. Door was locked. We knocked on the door and some incredibly rude woman waved us away. Clearly they have enough business and don't need any more. Plenty of other tile places where they are happy for new business. Best to go to one of them.

I’m very disappointed even a month after my experience. I didn’t want to post about this to be honest but after laying out the tiles again, I feel as if I need to share my experience. It’s a massive buyers beware. The before sales experience was the best I actually had along my tile journey. They helped select colours and negotiate pricing. I started telling all my customers who I design for to go here until I went to pick up the tiles. The after sales is “sorry, you should have known better” attitude. As much as I design for other people this was my first time doing a renovation for myself. I was very particular with detail as unfortunately, my job has made me obsessive about small details. When I went to pick up the penny rounds, I made it aware to the girl this looked nothing like the sample sheet. The sample sheet was the grey tones I had been searching for, I have attached a photo of the 5 sheets I ordered and the significantly greyer part was the sample sheet shown. She made me feel as if I was just seeing something that did not exist. I said I would have never ordered this if I knew it was going to be almost white. I told them exactly what I wanted, at no point did she tell me it would most likely look white. I wanted a soft grey marble tone which is what the sample had represented. I didn’t even want to take the tiles and she said sorry it’s no refunds. I hadn’t even left the store. It felt like I had been scammed. I find it so hard to keep pushing so I picked it up and have had it sitting in my house and had to go find something else for the neiche. We get to tiling my pantry in the kitchen and i thought it’s just a small area let’s just use the penny rounds... so I laid the tiles out and it’s so obvious that the sample vs what was actually sold is so different. I feel so angry even months after being scammed. Buyer beware, they take no responsibility in what the tiles look like vs the sample. I thought consumer law would have covered selling something so different then what was represented but I guess you don’t believe in it. It was only five sheets of tiles and you couldn’t even provide the service to refund it. It wasn’t a custom made tile either. Please buyers be 100% on your tile choice or you’ll get certain responses like “it’s you’re fault, it’s marble, what did you expect”, or “ you can unpick all the sheets and move the grey around” or even “the grout will hide it”Edit - after this review they have rectify the issue. They have gone above and beyond, to sort it out and I know have the greyed version which was shown in the showroom.

I had a wonderful experience at Southern Tile in Moorabbin, particularly during the restraints of COVID 19. The showroom was closed to the public, however the customer service I received was outstanding, and it made the experience effortless and smooth despite the current conditions. The staff were incredibly helpful, patient and prompt with all my questions, selections and color choices. V went above and beyond with helping me to make the best possible selection for my kitchen splash back. From the first phone call I made, to delivery of the samples and then my final order, I couldn't fault them. Thank you V!

Just love coming into Southern tile, the girls here always are so helpful.NEW UPDATE 2023 just finished another renovation and used southern tiles again, super happy with the selection! The help I received was fantastic, they understood my budget, colours and timing. We recently renovated two bathrooms in our home in Frankston South to get it ready to put on the market. We went to southern tile to see what they had available. The choice and quality of the tiles were amazing I have to say. If you want a point of difference with your tiles I recommend you go to Southern, if you want the same old cookie cutter then go to those big suppliers. After we chose the tiles we engaged Southern Tiles to renovate the bathrooms. I have been renovating homes for years and I have never seen such hi quality workmanship in my life, these boy's are beyond Tradesmen they are craftsmen. I put my house on these guy's and won with a record price. I cannot speak highly enough.
