Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie

I recently had Surgery at Glenferrie Private 17/08/21. From the moment I arrived in the morning to time to discharge the following day nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Being looked after by nurses Erinn, Liz and Sue across my stay was everything I hoped. They ensured I was well looked after and great comfort not being allowed to have visitors. Thank you for your care!

I have been a day patient a couple of times now at Glenferrie Private under the care of Dr Richard Sullivan (Pain Specialist/Legend) and Dr Brad (Anaesthetist Extraordinaire) + his great assistant. 5 stars is honestly not enough. I have very difficult veins to access and can be a very anxious patient… the entire staff are AMAZING and put you completely at ease. One of my visits was from regional Vic during the big Melbourne lockdown and the nursing staff went out of their way to look after not only myself but my partner who had to stay in the car, outside, for the full 5hrs I was admitted then drive me back home another 5hrs the same day. Can not recommend this hospital or it’s staff highly enough everyone is amazing and they really care. Shout out to the nurses: Erin, Tess, Romani, Leigh and my lovely recovery nurse who’s name I can’t remember because I was groggy from my latest visit you were all especially fantastic.

Shocking from start to end. I had bunion surgery by the butcher from Lyon. The pain was hideous and nobody knew how to manage it. When I arrived on the Monday, in winter, the heating was yet to be turned on and I felt like I was in a morgue. After surgery I was still freezing, in shocking pain and generally feeling scared by the lack of concern by my “surgeon” and nurses.Then there was the food, my pets eat better than the rubbish I was served up. Steamed over cooked chicken, limp veggies - inedible.I was sent home still in unbearable pain, vomiting the whole way. I would never go to this hospital again.

Thank you so much to ALL the hard working staff! They were so caring and accommodating, from arrival through to departure. In particular, the anesthetist nurse was very reassuring in response to my anxiety about potential pain during the procedure. I hope the staff know how valued and amazing they are! ❤️

Last Friday I had nerve blocks done at this Surgical Centre.I was impressed by the cleanliness, the organization of this place and by the professionalism of the staff.The admin staff, nurses were very helpful and caring towards me.I definitely recommend the Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie for any procedures.Well done!

I had day surgery at the GPH this week (June 2022) and everything from admission to discharge was calm, timely, and very professional. Just what I needed as a very anxious patient.Thank you very much to the nurses who took care of me on the day - Amanda, Anna, Melissa and particularly Janelle, her confident but calming demeanour was just what I needed just before going in to surgery, and Lin, who was with me when I woke up.I also appreciated the follow up phone call the next day to check on my recovery. I would 10/10 recommend Glenferrie Private Hospital.

A very nice hospital with attentive, professional, and competent staff. My stay wasn’t long and I would’ve liked to even had stayed longer as the care is quite exceptional. Facilities are quite modern and very comfortable.As this is a private hospital they’re not open on weekends or public holidays but still there are processes in place to maintain a good care regimen if your stay leads into a non-operational timeframe.Surgery theatre is well equipped and duty of care is superb.Because of Covid there is an extensive screening process when you arrive with electronic scanning of temperature and facemask recognition and the addition of lots of paperwork.

I have had a couple of procedures performed at the Glenferrie Private and I have nothing but praise for all of the Nursing staff, as well as the domestic and office staff, they all go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The level of care was fantastic.It would be great if the patient's fridge could be raised up for easier access for the patients, other than that small detail I have no complaints about the facilities.Thanks so much!

This is the best hospital! Came in for a day surgery yesterday and all of the staff from the minute you walk in the door are incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful. The best of the best at their jobs, and the facilities are clean and modern too.

Excellent care by all. I was so very impressed with all the nurse staff who took great care of me. The two recovery nurses were fabulous , I remember Helen was so gentle and caring of me. A particular shout out to Heather who looked after me for two nights and assisted me when I wasn’t in a great place. THANKYOU everyone
