Vicki Hobbs - Back to Basics Birthing

In mid June 2023 my partner and I did Vicki's VBAC Birth Course. We chose to do it privately over the group sessions which on paper is more of a cost than the group sessions, and worth every single bit of the additional expense. We not only chose a day that we dedicated to completing the course, Vicki was able to cater to our specific context and needs which made the information she was providing us even more valuable. Vicki is highly informed about the Australian medical system, birthing practices, birthing physiology, current evidenced based research that underpins hospital protocols around birthing and the social and gender norms that affect birth. Her communication is kind, considerate, confident and clear. Both my partner and I walked away from the day feeling empowered to take on the next birthing challenge, and I have no hesitation recommending this course or any of Vicki's services. Regardless of the outcome of my next birth, I feel immense gratitude for having had this experience. Thank you Vicki.
