Went for a blue slip and got sent away as we didn't have the paperwork. They gave me 40 mins to return to the shop and I did.When I returned Steve had left and there was only one guy there. He rang Steve and he said 20 mins and he'll be back. I waited nearly two hrs!I rung and got no answer so I sent a text simply asking where he was as I got told 20 mins and I got sworn at and threated.I don't recommend this mechanic at all!!!

Shane and his team have provided great service and very reasonable prices on both my older cars. As a woman who knows nothing about cars, its great to know that I won't be ripped off with repairs. Shane always finds the cheapest option for my limited budget; and communicates options well. I have sent my female friends to him as well knowing they will be looked after.Highly recommended!

Had a booked appointment for 9am. No one there except two other customers that told us they'd been there several times that week with again no one in attendance at the business. Rang the business owners mobile to be told the mechanic was running late and he would ring back to confirm ETA. Still waiting for the call. I would not recommend this business.

The place was locked up when I arrived. Had to knock a million times and no one answered. Eventually a neighbour came by and said i needed to go round the back (apparently it happens alot) but I did that and still no answer. Me and another customer were both there for ages trying to get a response. Eventually we left.

Hands down the worst experience with a mechanic I’ve had.Ordering parts without running by the customer first, even though the part necessary was already supplied.Excessive wait time for simply changing a starter motor.Quote was originally $75 - $100, ended up paying $412.Walking up I realised my car parked at the end of the street with the bonnet not even closed properly. Failing to ensure the security of their clients cars.Then the car comes back with what appears to be a different battery in it, accompanied by a whole series of new whines coming from the car.All backed up with a recommendation of bringing the car in for some new work to be done to it.Simply put, will not return here and anybody going here is making some erroneous decisions.

I came to Street Automotive to get a rego inspection. The guys were quick and thorough and didn't give me the run around on any unnecessary repairs.
