I have traveled and experienced indian food from abroad, and while I struggle to find quality for price in Tasmania, I found this place! A journey of flavour. Experienced owner and chef, and a full meal that puts you in a coma. This place is the indian gem you find once every few years. Thank you and I will be back.

A very enjoyable Indian meal. Atmosphere was very pleasant. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and all chipped in to help each other out. We'd definitely go again next time we're in TAS. The only slight downside was we hadn't realised we needed to order rice - and we weren't prompted to. We didn't know until the food came out and there was none. It was rectified really quickly and did not take away from the enjoyment.

Delish food with plenty of vegetarian options. Our waiter was very helpful with menu suggestions based on our tastes & dietary requirements. Great Tassie wine options. Very enjoyable dinner.

If this is not the best, it's definitely one of the best Indian restaurants that I've ever visited in Australia.The interior was so attractive and the girl at the front desk was so nice. She told us that it might take 20 more mins for her to arrange a table, but she was able to get it and sit us down in 10 mins.Then she recommended the Samosa for us, saying that it's not frozen and house-made and we ended up having 2. It was so fresh, just as promised, and was so tasty with the house tamarind sauce.We had a lamb biriyani and we asked it to be spicy and hot. We just followed the normal spicy scale here in Aus and gosh!! It was smoking hot. So if you don't want it too hot,, order your meals medium. We were literally crying our eyes out, but we finished the whole biriyani.. :DWe tried fig kulfi for the dessert and what a treat it was. I have never seen that at anywhere else. Highly recommended. We also tried the carrot halwa and it was nice too.Many many thanks to the chef!! And I will definitely visit the place if I visit Tasmania again by any chance!!

Staff were friendly, menu was extensive & our food was extremely enjoyable - from mains to sweets. Prices were very satisfactory. Pleasant music was heard in the background. Look forward to going there again when visiting the area.

If you are as afraid of sweet curry as I am, please try here won’t be disappointed. But if you can’t eat hot food please go somewhere. Anyway I’m really enjoy it. Well done

5 stars! Naan servings generous and fresh, meats freshly cooked, korma and other vegetarian dish were made respectfully according to our spice preference. Only regret is not having room for dessert! Will surely be back.

Indian restaurant near the spirit of Tasmania, Devenport. Delicious food, very nice ambience. Friendly staff and good service. More vegetarian options are available. Masala Chai was awesome.If you go on public holidays, beware of 15% sur charges. Found it a bit overpriced. Overall, it was a very good experience. Satisfied with the food.

I ordered take away. The naan bread was doughy in some places, the butter chicken was meant to be medium spicy. However they used way to much sugar so you couldn’t feel the slice it was mild! There was a lot of sauce compared to chicken! The chicken was burnt and had charcoal which is not good for health! The fact that the inside of the chicken was dry! I’ll give it another go next time in town and try there vegetarian Curry. It cost 29 dollars. Look how much sauce was left! And it wasn’t even full!
