Cate Grant Doula

Cate was an amazing support throughout the pregnancy and birth of my second baby, and throughout the postnatal period too. She was a shoulder to cry on when needed, and helped myself and my partner navigate the system where need be. Not only was she a great support person herself, she also taught my partner how to better support me. Without her, I don’t believe that I would’ve achieved my VBAC. It was an incredible, empowering, life-changing experience. I highly recommend.

Cate was an incredible support for our family, helping us navigate the hospital with a pre eclampsia diagnosis and was also amazing in the post partum period.

I feel incredibly lucky to have had Cate as our doula supporting the birth of our first baby. From early on in the pregnancy, Cate helped us to determine what kind of birth we wanted while providing education, tips and tools to inform and prepare us. In my final weeks, Cate offered much needed practical and emotional support. For the birth itself, having Cate present was a game changer. Her calm presence and expert suggestions turned what could have been a frightening and overwhelming experience into an empowering one for both my husband and myself. We’ll always be hugely grateful to her for this!
