We love Gerald’s. Mario and Gerald are stalwarts of the hospitality industry and are gracious hosts. The wine, food and service are superb. Thanks for always being so welcoming

Absolutely fantastic! We bought our teenage daughters along with us for dinner and we all loved it. Thank you for squeezing us in. Such a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Very disappointed. Waited for over 20 mins for the waitress to come back to take our food order. She didn’t apologize or anything when she finally came. The truffle crisps came in a bag. Bread didn’t come with butter or olive oil. Had to ask for it. the food was overall very underwhelming. They also charged us a drink we didn’t order. We came here cause a few of our friends highly recommended their food. But I would never go back. Service is not great (the guy are the front was very friendly and the waitress was nice in the first 5 mins, don’t know what happened to her after that but it just all went downhill from there).

the place is quite popular on a sat night, but dies off by 8. Mario the host was rude and somewhat sexist, although the rest of the staff were knowledgeable and professional. The food and wines are well chosen although on the higher price end. Overall enjoyed my experience but did not enjoy the service that Mario gave.

Went here the other night with my mate and shared a whole lot of different items from the amazing menu. We shared the mortadella, white anchovies and cecina to start then for mains shared the haloumi with burnt honey, pork tonnato, spiced lamb ribs and the porterhouse. There was not a single thing I could fault with this meal everything from the service to the quality of ingredients used were top notch. I absolutely loved every minute of my time here and will absolutely be back. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos before we ate the food as we got top excited.

I’m really supportive of the hospitality industry and this place has been on my list to try for a long time. I do really need to warn others when it’s this bad. We did the $75 feed me menu. Had to get water ourselves. The waitress really didn’t want to be there. We had anchovies and bread at 8pm. Then 9pm the next serve of miso eggplant arrived. Then slowly followed by terrine. Then fish. Then small piece of tiramisu. I walked away still quite hungry for what we paid. They couldn’t quite accommodate for special dietary requirements and the service was really terrible. Should have read all the reviews before we booked. Take your money elsewhere.

Got the set menu which was pretty filling.Pretty unique cocktails that are worth a try. The service was great! The food was delicious! The pork belly we got was mostly fat, however the staff were very apologetic when notified and fixed us up.The bread starter should have come with a butter or something more. Definitely give them a go
