Autotest Service Centre

HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDAfter a recent breakdown, and needing a service centre in a hurry, I took up a suggestion to have my car towed to AutoTest. They were extremely helpful, with Norma even accomodating me after hours.Their professionalism was displayed from the moment my car was received until I was able to collect it. The original diagnosis from the callout mechanic was determined by them to be incorrect. AutoTest was able to pinpoint the actual problem and fix it. It was a very simple one, compared to what I was originally told was wrong with my car.Their professionalism and staight up honest approach to their work, means that I would definately use them again and recommend them to others needing any of the services that they offer.

Super friendly staff! Definitely The sort of customer service that you want. Helped fix and identify a few issues with my car. These guys are super well equipped and know their stuff. Cheers for the service guys!

had a few niggling issues with a vehicle and got James to look the car over, after diagnosing a failing ignition cassette (standard Saab problem) the car is up and running perfectly.he brought a few other items that needed replacing to my attention as well, and gave me a timeframe & priority ranking for which order I should expect to replace them in, absolute legend.

In reply to Autotest. I witnessed you ruin not one but according to your own company two brand new sets of headlights among many other things between the 17th and 22nd of July this month. I contacted and sent you photos by mobile of a gear shifter button and paid for it through Aaron to get fixed! So I beg to differ on your selective memory loss. So much for your quote pride in personal service, high standards, valuing your customers, stringent records and 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. No surprise getting your standard generic response.

Don't waste your time or money at Autotest Service Centre. I tried to get a roadworthy here and they tried to sting me for everything they could. They tried to charge $1300 worth of repairs including replacing a completely fine windscreen and recently replaced wiper blades. I didn't trust them at all so I went elsewhere and had to pay for another roadworthy but was worth it because they didn't say anything needed replacing apart from a few light bulbs. You could tell they were just taking advantage of someone needing to sell their car.

A fantastic center. Not only are the staff friendly, they are empathetic and supportive and go above and beyond to deliver excellent service. Great value for money too! Absolutely recommend.

I recently have moved to eltham and bought a car, Peugeot from 2008.When I inquired around for RWC there was either high quotes or comments like that car is old this will be not passing we don’t have time You will need to leave the car from morning till evening etc. by ABS and others.However I called auto test, they said no problem just bring it in will take 3h. And will cost x amount.Did that passed the car and picked it up, very good service and professional, not the usual trying to make you unnecessary repairs or anything.Best garage in eltham for me!

BE CAREFUL. I was transferring my car to another party. Just needed a simple road worthy as paperwork. Car was in perfect condition. After I left them the car, they said the mud guard is missing and thats required for a roadworthy". It absolutely was not missing at the time I dropped the car off.. the owner said "it probably just fell off on the way here"... The most ridiculous thing ive ever heard in my life. The guards are as big as a human torso

Similar to a previous gentleman's review on Google, I DO NOT recommend this service centre. Charged for a RWC NOT PROVIDED and instead provided a long list of defects (windshield replacing, tint too dark, headlights need cleaning etc etc) which are inaccurate and in the end no RWC issued. We have now taken it to another service centre for review and as we suspected given it had achieved roadworthy status <3 months ago, no further work required to pass the vehicle again.AutoTest will fleece you for services NOT rendered - today we paid $195 for them to put our car on a hoist and take 4 wheels off to inspect" the vehicle and write 3 lines of notes. Completely unprofessional and with competition in Eltham as fierce as it is for business' in this sector
