The Good Guys Townsville

Poor customer support in the dishwashing machine area. I visited the store on 12/03/23 after researching online for a new dishwasher.The guy in the store totally BS me about the depth of the machine he gave me the wrong information, he said that all machines are the same depth ....??? also, when I was repeatedly asking about his statement, he said he has been Saling these machines for 13 years...Please be prepared when you visit Townsville Good guys sales rep BS to you stone cold...I bought an appliance online website that I want...no business for the local store ..due to self-respect for customers...

I purchaced a 75 inch Samsung tv and had problems not once but twice. These guys and girls on the sales floor, cash desk, and store /despatch area were nothing but fantastic. To be looked after so well was so incredible I had to write a review. Well done everyone and Thankyou.

Jarred needs to be spoken too about the appalling way he speaks to customers and the staff trying to help. Turns out at the end of his rant that he was wrong all along and the person helping was right. No apology, nothing. Feel sorry for the people who have to work with him. So rude.

DO NOT BUY THE GOLD SERVICE EXTENDED WARRANTY from the Good Guys, unless you live in town. We live in a regional town of about 10,000 people and were promised this service would go anywhere in Australia or we would not have purchased it. We bought an LG 700L fridge from the Good Guys for over $4000 and it broke down at the start of January, not good in Qld in the summer. We have been given the runaround for the last SIX WEEKS! It is still not fixed.

I ordered a new phone online. I paid for next day delivery as the option was available, this was a Thursday. I watched for order updates hoping my new phone would arrive as I paid extra to make it so. Nope, ok I live in a rural area so that's not uncommon.But my order still hasn't been picked or even actioned , so why did I get charged for the extra if the service can't be met.No contact details to customer service is easily found in their web site, how common nowadays, so based in my experience with what should have been a simple online transaction I wouldn't go near this mob. Please note this was an Online order.

Got sold a faulty washing machine from the that broke in 6 months barely 60 uses...It been over 2 months ths and thet haven't done a thing. A guy came around a month after reporting the issue and spent 5 minutes and said it was stuffed. Now another month has passed and no contact. Luckily my friend who was going to use them for a very large order dodged a bullet after I told him how bad they are and pointed out the reviews.

Poor customer service. The staff were more interested in talking to each other than customers. Waited 10 mins to be served to only be treated like we were a hindrance to his day. His product knowledge was lacking.Just a very underwhelming experience compared to experiences I have had with Good Guys Melbourne.We ended up buying a dishwasher from JB HiFi where the customer service was exceptional and couldn’t help us enough.Good Guys also have the most expensive delivery charges out of all the electrical retailers in Townsville.

I was in the store today to buy a fridge and received outstanding service from Rowena. She was able to give me a great price on my fridge with same day delivery on a Sunday. Very professional and friendly service. I would strongly recommend this store and in particular Rowena.

Had an excellent experience with this store, the staff, and the products available. After deciding on a washing machine I wanted via the website, I went instore and spoke with Fiona. From the beginning she was friendly and helpful, and didn't try to change my mind or upsell me a more expensive product. In fact without being asked she knocked the price on my item even lower when it was already on sale! My questions were all patiently answered and I felt welcome and confident in my purchase. The rest of the team on the floor and at the register were also lovely. By the way, paying that little bit extra for premium delivery is absolutely worth it! The people who delivered and installed my new washing machine were so professional, careful and considerate, and having them take away the old machine made everything that much easier. Couldn't be happier with this experience! Thank you so much.

Couldn’t buy something over the phone if I wanted to, 10 mins on hold twice over seperate times of the day. Needs a lot of improvement
