Long wait for food but when it did arrive it definitely hit the spot. A little lacking in kid friendly cutlery so might be worth to BYO.

Chief will cook at your table, authentic northern China style. Said the only one in its style in Melbourne, we group of 4 had only this huge hot pot and couldn't consume more, will come back to try other dishes.

This restaurant is a joke. The pork is almost all fat with no lean meat at all. I have no idea how they cook Chinese food with all fat. I tried many good Chinese restaurants in Melbourne. This restaurant would not even be my last option.

Northern style Chinese food. Quite authentic and cheap. Serving size is good, we are a group of 6, ordered one pot stew and 4 dishes, we couldn’t finish them all. Recommend sweet and sour pork and the beef brisket stew( you can add corn bread, they gonna cook the bread on the side of the hot pot, which is quite interesting to see). I would say the dishes are a bit greasy but hey, all authentic Chinese food are like this. Deep in flavor and sock in gravy.

The guo Bao Meat taste fantastic. This is the best guo bao meat I ever had in Melbourne. Love this restaurant!

Love this place, always busy, and there are not many seats so book ahead is recommended. staffs are very friendly.
