Kristen my daughter has thrived in confidence as a result of the professional services of Alex. At first she was a bit nervous doing the zoom sessions, but now this is her preferred channel. Not only was the schedule adaptable, but Kristen could attend the sessions from school and in the comforts of home-just has worked out so much better. My son has struggled with schoolwork for years, and although tutors were on board, he was not able to make much progress at all. It was not until he met Alex and undertook her Language Assessment that we got a deeper insight into his learning difficulties, and where he needed specific support. My son was very reluctant to engage in any kind of test, but Alex made him feel at ease; warmed to her immediately and completed the assessment with no complaints at all! Alex coaches our daughter on her writing for highschool. They have a great relationship - Alex is a positive, engaging coach. She has connected directly with relevant teachers at school to get specific feedback which she uses to tailor the weekly sessions to align with schoolwork and any learning needs. I happened to be present during my son's latest session with Alex from Truly Heard. I was sitting on my hands and biting my tongue because his negative attitude towards a big assignment was creating a major roadblock for him and causing stress for all of us at home.Alex handled our boy with so much skill, perseverance, humour and steadiness.
