My 9 years old daughter has been learning guitar with Liz since early this year. Liz is very professional and patient. My daughter enjoys the guitar lesson each week. And I could see that her technique improves a lot this year. Highly recommend Liz.

Learning to play the guitar was near the top of by bucket list when I retired. I'm 67 and had never played a musical instrument or read music before. A friend recommended a retired school teacher which I quit after a few lessons. I then signed up for an online class but really didn't understand what I was doing and became quite overwhelmed.When I started lessons a few months ago I wasn't sure what to expect. Liz is an excellent funtastic teacher (she really does make learning fun). I'm so glad I didn't give up my dream of playing the guitar before starting lessons with her. Liz is passionate about music and enjoys sharing her love and knowledge through her teaching. She is always prepared and tailors my lessons to my needs. I highly recommend Liz to anyone who wants to take guitar lessons.

I am so lucky to be a student of Liz! Every lesson she plans out, tailors it to what you want out of learning guitar. For me personally I wanted to learn it all from technique to reading notation! So she has given me all of that education and more and with constant encouragement. I honestly walk away from every lesson feeling so good about myself and that is because of the style Liz teaches. I have grown so much as a guitarist. Liz will go above and beyond for you. I never thought I would last so long trying to learn something but now I never want to stop! I have been taking lessons with Liz now for a few months.During this time, I have found Liz to be professional, most helpful, patient, understanding, super kind and intuitive in the way she teaches. Each Student is taught in a way they understand.As Liz puts it, everyone learns differently.Liz will also help you learn songs that you want to play. Elizabeth is extremely professional. She has inspired my sons love of guitar and encouraged him to try different styles and music to what he would normally choose. She has encouraged and guided him to push himself beyond his comfort zone, suggesting he play classical guitar in a masterclass for the Newcastle Music Festival - something he did and did extremely well. Liz is always punctual, reliable and understanding if we need to change a lesson. I love that she gives ongoing, detailed feedback on her students progress. We could not be happier with Liz - she is a beautiful person, loves her job and generously shares her skill and passion.

My son really enjoys learning guitar with Liz. She is so patient and kind. He gets to chose which songs he’d like to learn. I love that he is leaning not only to play but to also read music.

Liz is a fantastic teacher! My 8 year old started lessons at the start of the year. Covid hit and Liz was so quick to adapt and do zoom lessons. She is patient and adapts to the interest of my son. He can confidently read music already and chord charts. Liz is amazing
