The sushi is good but the seats are completely filthy. It's disgusting. The booths with the fabric sears are covered in old food and stains its so gross they need to organise a steam cleaner to fix it asap. Also the service is terrible it says please wait to be seated but no one seats you so everyone stands at the entrance like an idiot. Good food but below average experience

My daughter and I love going here as the food is always lovely, fresh and tasty. The restaurant is clean and has a great vibe. We really enjoy being able to pick out what we want to eat as is goes past. Sometimes the choices can be a little limited, if you're not there during a peak time, but you can pick whatever you're feeling like from the menu and it will be made and brought to you. Prices are very reasonable.

We waited to be seated along with 8 others behind us for 10mins to have the wait to be seated sign changed to Kitchen closed without any explanation at 2pm.We were seated at a dirty table with very limited plates on the train. Food was ok but not a big variety. Then a waiter asked if we wanted to order something as kitchen was closing and only the plates on the train available. We left after a very ordinary experience. Don’t waste your money or time on this terrible restaurant

First time every doing a sushi train. It was fun discovering what could be made. Hopefully I can come back in the future.Expect a long line but that is to be expected, it's very busy and seems to be popular!

Sushi was not great however edible. Staff service was inadequate, they decided to ‘close’ the shop (at 1pm; typical lunch time..) and not allow orders to be made. Selection on the train was very small and was not being replenished. Staff were rude and made very poor communication with customers.

We went there tonight (Monday) for my daughters birthday as that’s what she wanted to do. When we got there all the booths to the left were closed and it appeared for no particular reason. The actual sushi belt was not on and only half of the restaurant had sushi on it. You had to leave your seat each time you wanted something. The sushi was warm and didn’t taste fresh. We almost went to Charlestown instead and I now wish we did. If it wasn’t for my young daughters birthday we would have left. The last time we went there it was closed at 5pm within what are their listed opening hours. We’d struggle to go back again and get a third disappointing experience.

This would be the worst Sushi in Newcastle. No variety, stone cold food (when it should be hot), rude staff. Ordered From the menu in the hope it would be fresh, but the waiter just picked it cold of the train. Avoid this place.

Charlestown collapsed. And We stopped to check if the kind chef was in Kotara instead of Charlestown, and he was not there. The staff at this branch is inadequate and can receive adequate training, but they do too much work alone. I need to understand why I should be sorry for where I pay. If you are curious about the exploitation of labour by employers, visit. It is time to part ways, well, so long, Sushi Musa.

Great place to stop if you are at the shops. Typical sushi train, get seated and start eating. Sushi is always fresh. Cost is on par with other similar restaurants
