First time dining at Chef BAK and it was not a bad experience.We tried the chicken sticky rice set with different chicken dishes. It was tasty and good value for money. Tofu set with noodle was pretty good too. Very silky soft hot deep dried tofu. The only dish we were not happy with during the meal was crab and snail noodle soup which was just so so. Otherwise everything else was pretty good.Service was ok too.Will be back to try other dishes.

I am from Sydney visiting Melbourne for work. I found Chef Bak through google restaurant near me. I’m very impressed by the dishes and services. The full flavour of sausage is what I cannot forget, I couldn’t find this taste anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Amazing traditional north vietnamese food. Been going here since its opening. Always have a good experience. Boss is extremely friendly, always comes over for a chat. Never disappointed about their food here. Def 5 star

Ordered a take away during current lockdown. I just moved in the area and I wanted something to try. I ordered beef gravy on rice and crab spring rolls.I love the food, I’m not from Vietnam but the flavour reminds me of home. The feeling of authenticity.Crab rolls are amazing, it might be one of my favourites in this place so far.Can’t wait to try more from this restaurant.

I really enjoyed the food at Chef BAK restaurant. Food was delicious, great service and friendly environment for a big family, extra bonus karaoke private room for entertainment.

A decent Vietnamese restaurant that serves a wide range of Nothern Vietnamese dishes and some Southern Vietnamese dishes as well. We got to try “Bò Né” but the gravy that came with it actually didn’t go well with the dish. Vietnamese Pancake banh xeo was decent but came with not much of meat and prawns. Owner is very nice and friendly.
