The house is super complete and confortable, it is always clean and we also have a small kitchen in our room with fridge and microwave. There are a lot of bathrooms so you never have to wait.The housemates lovely and Jeff makes you feel like you are at home. Location is great very close to everything. Definitely the best!!

Hi everyone!!I’ve been living here for about three months, and my time has been amazing!! In the house everything is working! All of the bills, cleaning professional, and laundry are included in the rent price! Also you can have free basic food in the kitchen!! The location is very convenient, it is just 7 minutes from central station, and the bus stop is in front of the house!! The people are super friendly, and I’ve made good friends during my time here!! Finally, the manager is the best!!! He always has the will to help us, he makes the tenants feel like at home!! Thanks you Jeff !! Come to visit us!! Cheers

Been living here for a considerable time and we are not planning to move any soon! I thought of writing this review because the administration changed recently and (based on older reviews) the previous one wasn't nearly as good as this.Everything works as a charm (kitchen, bathrooms, laundry). They are permanently working on upgrades and the place is clean. It is a big house with many rooms but the common use areas are appropiate. We never had to wait to use the kitchen or the shower.People is social, nice and respectful. We are all young, studying or/and working. Therefore, this is not a party house at all and it's silent at night.Jeff, the man in charge, is the best. You can count on the administration for any issues.

I stayed for 2 months and Chalmers is a terrible place. The wifi is slow/does not work. The kitchen is bad, half of the stoves don't work. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are dirty, the water in the shower oscillates between scalding hot and freezing, so if you shower you are risking getting first third degree burns or freezing. The staff is not friendly, and they don't clean very often. Also, I did not sign anything saying I would not drink alcohol, but apparently you can't enjoy a beer with your dinner there. The people who stay there are weird.There is 1 washer and 1 dryer for the entire building. It costs $6 per load ($3 per wash and $3 per dry). Absolute ripoff.They don't even provide soap in the bathrooms, and the toilet seats are loose and wiggle around.I would NOT RECOMMEND staying here if you want cleanliness, it is not a sanitary place.

I have a great time at Chalmers Lodge, it was a great experience to get to know Sydney for the first time.Toilets always clean and available, also the kitchen and the laundry.You can also use some food from the kitchen, and the management it's great and very cordial.

One month already since I have moved here and love the choice I’ve made. The location is great, you can get everywhere by walk (there are two wonderful parks just around the corner). The house is super big, there are many rooms but also many restrooms and the common areas are spacious. The cleaners come very often, so it’s a nice place to stay. There are many different types of rooms, single/ double with balcony/without. And maybe the best part is that they are all the time improving the place, the bathrooms, the laundry& dry machine, the floor, so it looks like a very new house. On my top of favorites things is the house manager, Jeff, who is very helpful and answers our requests immediately. Always interested in how we are and open to a small talk in the middle of the hallway or to share a quality time at the kitchen. ( Ps: we got Netflix this week XD )Summary: Chalmers Lodge highly recommend

I moved to Chalmers Lodge after staying in hostels for two months and it feels great. You have enough privacy in the privacy in your private room with kitchenette. But you also get nice common rooms such as the kitchen which is really well equipped and a dining room. Laundry and drier machine are free, so that's a big plus. Overall my stay here has been great.

I stayed at Chalmers Lodge for the summer as I was staying in Sydney working. It was a wonderful stay and you are given everything you need. There is are sheets, free snacks, free washing machine and dryers. Jefferson is an incredibly warm and friendly person and is there to help you whenever needed! It is also in a very central location and everything is nearby. There is a woolies just down the road and central station just 10 minutes away by walking.This was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it.

Chalmers Lodge is a really nice place to stay. The room is in very good condition and perfectly equipped. The bathroom and kitchen is clean even if it is shared.There is free pasta, rice and some other essentials available in the kitchen.Jeff is really helpful and kind. He is also living there and is always available for questions.Chalmers Lodge is at a perfect location. It is only 15 minutes to the central station.I can really recommend Chalmers lodge

It's a great place to live, especially with so many people from all over the world. Being able to talk to so many different people has really helped me a lot in learning about different cultures. And people are friendly, which is rare. And it's convenient to live here. The supermarket is just a block away and there are two parks nearby. Sometimes I am tired from studying, so I go to the park to play on the swing. Of course you can play basketball, but I can only play on the swing.Jeff is a really nice guy. He is friendly and fun. He lives in the house too, and you can ask him any questions. One more thing, Jeff's Chinese is super good, you can talk to him in Chinese;)All in all, I'm really happy living here. Recommend coming here for a few months, haha
