JB Hi-Fi Brunswick

Poor experience here today. I had used the online delivery system to purchase a wireless charging pad for my phone as a last-ditch attempt to turn it on before COB (6pm), after the charging port suddenly stopped working. I opted for the $10 express delivery option (delivered within 90 minutes). After waiting for well over an hour with the order still reading 'Processing' online, I contacted live chat digitally and was told that the team at Brunswick would contact me with an update via email. I did not receive any communication from them from this point, and decided to take matters into my own hands and go into the store myself to pick up the item, something I had to change my plans around to do. When I arrived, a staff member behind the counter was rude and dismissive, saying that the order was probably already with a delivery driver without asking me any questions about what had happened. Thankfully they had the item in stock, but there was no offer to waive the $10 delivery fee or any apology given for not contacting me about my order. I think this situation could've been handled with better communication from JB Hi-Fi.

This is my local and usually i find staff so helpful but I was served by the rudest lady yesterday- dark haired middle aged. I understand we all have bad days but this was next level. Threw the receipt at me and all on the phone while serving- just so rude!!!!!On the plus side the young security at the door is so bubbly and welcoming a true asset to the store. (5 stars for him!)

This is my local jb. Some times can be a little hit and miss if you need staff help but I went in yesterday to buy a new phone for my daughter and was lucky to be served by Dillon, who was sensational. Very quick with the paperwork; knew the product well; answered all my lame questions. Best mobile phone purchasing experience I have had so I will go back, thank you, Rf; went there again last week and Sarah replaced the screen on my daughter’s phone; outstanding job, thank you, Rf

Not a bad jb hifi. But the range of stock is perhaps not as much as other JB stores.However it is uniquely located and provides a boost to Barkley Square Mall.

Staff is very helpful but i really thankful to Ben . I was worried that i did not use the product but i came after one month to return and he helped me alot and i am satisfied with his customer service . Thankyou Mr BEN

Waited 15-20 minutes for someone to assist me as all the sales staff were flat out. Finally Ben came and apologised for the wait and then proceeded to give me great advice on product selection. Ben was friendly,professional and efficient. Thanks Ben.

Staffs are very friendly, but the coordination between billing and the team who picks the product of the shelves took considerable time for us (this is for the products which only has the boxes in the display shelf).

I went in on Sunday for a new laptop. I didn't get the name of the guy helping me but he was totally across it and had great recommendations. After helping me find a laptop i wanted, it unfortunately wasn't in stock and I had to head to another JB in the city. I did feel bad because he was genuinely very helpful and I wanted him to get his commission for the sale (im assuming thats how it works) but this review will have to do. I’ll definitely be back again.

I only shop at this store when they have what I need that's not in stock closer to me however today I just found the lady on the register with black hair unacceptably rude. She was very short with me at the register and then chucked the receipt towards me instead of handing it to me. Normally the staff are super friendly and helpful but this lady put a bad taste in my mouth.
