After enjoying a meat pie here 12 months ago, we decided to grab another quick lunch on our way through last Friday at midday. The portable pie sign was out front, but we were told they had no pies till the next day. We paid $27 for 2 medium flat white coffees, and two toasties, each flat as a tack, with one skinny slice of ham and cheese. The coffee tasted off. We tipped it out up the road. You need to do better guys!!

I only had a curry pie but the home made cakes and slices looked fantastic. I had a very nice milkshake and the coffee was ok too.Lovely rustic feel to the Café

I was there today. Very over priced, $23 for a steak burger and can of coke, menu said the burger was $18 so, $5 for a can of code is ridiculous. When I ordered the burger I thought $18 while not cheap it must be a decent size, but it wasn't. It was closer in size to a slider then a burger. The burger wasn't that good either.

Got 3 burgers ($17 each), 4 chicken nuggets ($7), hot chips and a can of coke, cost over $60. Burgers were terrible and over priced. Doubt they were home made beef patties, half the size of the burger bun. Definately not homemade chicken schnitzel on the burger. Very thin slice of tomato. Best part was the hot chips. Very disappointing.UPDATE from response - no I'm not mistaken, it was 100% this establishment. Never said it was today, was actually 2nd Jan I was there. Looking at other poor reviews and your responses to them I suggest you take a lesson and listen to your customers instead of passing off 1 star reviews as furphy. Homemade patties...yeah right! Must be a popular recipe because the food truck burger I had last night tasted exactly the same.

I ate a RAW pie for $7. Photo speaks itself.Very Expensive $7 pie even though they’re homemade I had cheaper and better in many other places.I had award winning pie for that price in eudlo on the sunny coast and also Tasmania. The puff pastry was raw, the filling was okay but very poor in meat but a bit runny from the amount of gravy but tasty though even if i has better.I apologise if I have to give a negative.review but that was my experience.Looking at the price of the burger and other stuff, there’s no way I would pay $17 for a burger unless it’s a wagyu. You can’t charge that much for food especially during Covid times so people have the right for a high standard food for that price. It’s just overpriced even for a small country town. The guy who was running was unfriendly, stone cold and me feel unwelcome. Will not be back to support this local business sorry.I should’ve spent this $7 at the market and get a decent burger across the street. Now if I can give you a cooking tip as I also cook.Precook your puff pastry before stuffing it so it’ll cook evenly and won’t be soggy on the bottom and inside.

$9 for a very ordinary ham sandwich, when the menu board says $4.50, when I asked, the menu board is too high to change prices.
