Hobson's Bay Hotel
Beautiful venue, with great views from the rooftop. But for such a beautiful space, the service doesn't match. There on a Saturday afternoon for drinks, wine not stocked on rooftop, told we'd have to wait ten minutes as they were going down the road to the stockist. When asking what wines they had, asked if we were happy to pay for whatever they brought up to the rooftop...Very strange.

New Locals to Williamstown after buying our hm & a walk down to Hobson Bay Hotel. Such a great experience & view from the rooftop was amazing. Service was 10/10 making our 1st experience so memorable. The food also 10/10 from the beef tartar & Parma. We will be regulars for sure.

The staff were friendly but unfortunately the service wasn't great. The dining room was extremely crowded and very difficult to walk around the table. Our requested high chair was not available, the waitress was very hard to flag down to ask for more water or drinks in general. Our food took a long time to arrive, and when it did the steak was well over cooked and served with no sides, merely topped with peas and pea shoots. Very surprised to find out that it was $60 (market price).The parmas were small and had hardly any cheese or sauce. The burger was mediocre. Overall, I wouldn't go back unfortunately as it's poor value for money and not family friendly.

Hobson's Bay Hotel
A beautifully decorated venue with a light and fresh feel. The waitstaff were wonderful and nice but unfortunately the wait time for food was so long even though there were only a handful of tables.I would have forgiven the wait time if the food wasn’t so bland and under seasoned. We ordered a mix of dishes to sample the menu, our stand out was the porterhouse steak which was cooked perfectly but the chips and side salad were not seasoned at all.The lamb shoulder sounded very inviting but we ultimately decided not to order it because of the 45 minute cook time.Considering we waited over and hour for our mains, we should have just ordered the lamb!

We had a nice experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. They have a variety of options on the menu for vegetarians and vegans.The main employee that served us was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Unfortunately not all the staff had the same knowledge and friendly demeanour.I would come back to Hobson's Bay Hotel the food and drinks were great.

Hobson's Bay Hotel
Came with a group of 11. Ordered 4 streaks, 3 roasts amongst other meals. The rib eye 500gram steaks were over priced ($80), well under cooked for a medium rare and majority fat and tendons. 3 roast pork dishes were pink and well under cooked. Ordering took for ever and service was no one upstairs for service. Will definitely not be returning.

Great food but very very small portions & $$Food is actually extremely delicious and cooked with the right temperature,unfortunately i was disappointed that the salad that came with the steak does not even include any workJust baby rockets and it was $39 for not even tender piece of meat.The place itself is also very well designed and you feel comfortable sitting there for a long timeThe place is also dog friendly and you can take your dogs upstairs
