Design Confidence

I am a developer and have been for a few years now. I began searching for fire safety engineers and this was one of the companies that came up on the search. I contacted them as well as sending my architectural drawings requesting a reply and a quote in 2 weeks, however they promised a quote within 2 days.After 2 weeks of not hearing from Design Confidence I followed up with an email and a phone call. Not response from the email and the 'engineer' I spoke to on the phone said they are just starting on the quote. I found this very unprofessional and quite poor. After another 2 weeks passed, I just a quote which was a one page document saying I need to engage them before they provide an exact fee.A warning to any developer or project manager, I just wasted a month of my time waiting for a response which seemed to involve little to none work. I would highly suggest to take your business elsewhere :(

As a registered architect with over 20 years experience in a variety of project types, I am used to working with large teams of consultants on small, medium and large scale projects.I have been working with Design Confidence for over ten years, with the team providing building regulation, performance solution assistance, DDA and certification services in that time.Throughout this period I have found Luke and his team to be very proactive with respect to response times for services proposals, the undertaking of their services, and follow up with the client and team to make sure that the architectural and design team documentation has been coordinated with regulatory requirements.
