Kickin’Inn Emerton
For a birthday celebration, with a big group of people to be with, it's definitely worth it! It's a unique experience to eat with your hands, and the food doesn't disappoint either. It's also good that there was a variety of seafood and other menu items for people to enjoy, especially the prawn cocktail. Would recommend for big celebrations, with people with big appetites!

Had a great dinner here tonight. Love the vibe of the place. Went here for early dinner, around 6pm, and had lots of tables available. The place is big and feels alive despite predominantly black interiors.Had a great welcome from the staff who promptly gave us menus.Seafood bag were amazing as usual. This time we made our own seafood mix so we only choose what we want. Prawns, mussels, lobsters were all fresh and perfectly cooked. The garlic butter sauce in original (not spicy) is our favorite.

Good Things: awesome food. The sauce was F#####G delicious. The hint of garlic and pepper was bringing the flavour to another level. Must visit if you can handle hit sauce and love seafood with that.Scope of improvement: Desert was not up to the level I was expecting. Neither in presentation nor in flavour. A partition near entrance will be amazing to avoid cold breeze and people are waiting are not standing next to the people who are eating

Dined here to celebrate my birthday. All the staff were friendly and accommodating led by their manager Nirjala. Our dining experience was very pleasant thanks to them. The seafood was phenomenal. The amount of seafood in the bag is just mind blowing. It’s like an endless supply of prawns, pipis and crabs! You can taste the freshness and the sauce was fantastic. I also got a prawn martini for my birthday as I have signed up previously. It really made my day!

First visit to Kickin’Inn. Overall an okay experience. Service was lacking in terms of staff attention. Felt like the store was run by a bunch of high school kids. Seafood was of good quality but the inferno sauce was not spicy at all. Chef forgot the lobster in the bag despite adding $$ to the bill. Had to check with staff if they can find where the lobster is in the bag ahaha was served at the end. Theatrics were good, seafood bag getting dumped on the table for us to eat like cavemen, I liked it. But the price we pay for what we get, not worth it. I spent $150 and was not full or satisfied. Definitely a one time visit.

1st time here, drove all the way from Newcastle to check out this place heard some great feedback from family members. Couldn't really ask the staff questions about the food,I think they were pretty busy with only 4 staff setting up tables,and taken orders on a not full restaurant as yet. They were out of oysters, and the kickin classic. Food was great though at least next time we know what to do when we come. We will be back to try again.

The place was packed when we went so even with a reservation we had to wait around for a while. Wine was terrible and the mark up was close to 400% but the food was pretty good. We started with the mozzarella sticks, perfectly golden with an impressive stretch followed by the mixed bag with kajun sauce. The sauce was delicious but very thick and overpowered the seafood a bit. Overall it was still a very fun experience but I feel that's the best part. Wearing a bib and digging in with your hands was entertaining and there is a generous amount of seafood.
