We came across Annick’s on our last morning in Hobart while out walking.The shop is well presented with a nice variety of antiques and collectibles. We purchased a piece of Australian Pottery and the staff took good care to wrap it with plenty of padding for hand luggage on our afternoon flight (it arrived safely, thanks!).The owner came to chat to us about the item and give us further information. It is obvious this owner is passionate about what she does and the staff she has to assist clients.We will return on our next visit to see if we can find another piece for our collection.

Would not waste our time visiting this shop after having met the owner outside. We were verbally abused when we returned to our car in a side street nearby. We had parked in a parking spot, next to another parked vehicle, with no “no parking” signage whatsoever and copped a tirade of abuse from this lady for having parked there. Our advice to her was to put a simple no parking sign up and to not be so rude to people. Not hard to be kind folks!
