RSPCA Gympie

We totally adore our gorgeous Rosie, the 3.5 year old cat l adopted from Gympie RSPCA. She will turn sweet 16 next month..:-) l wish l knew how to put a photo up as well

RSPCA Gympie is just a wonderful place. It is not hard to see that the people who work there are extremely passionate about the work they do. All the animals that are in their care are really loved and cared for. I would recommend RSPCA Gympie to all my friends for animal adoptions.

Have looked everywhere for a product for my very large dog and until today was unable to find it so popped in to see the beautiful ladies at the rspca and decided on the spot that I would be back every time I need something for one of my fur kids. Not only did they have the product but it was fitted to my boy there and then and the service from these beautiful people was absolutely second to none. Thanks ladies, I'll be back soon.

Got a rescue cat from Rspca Gympie. The staff were so kind and helpful. I am now looking to add a small dog for company for my cat and myself. So would recommend adopt don’t shop.

They just told me they are putting our cat down without having a vet inspect or run tests on the cat. When I took a cat in for re-homing, the cat was unwell, but had no diagnosis. I could not afford to take it to a vet, as doing so would involve going through blood tests, scans etc to properly diagnose what is going on for this cat, so I figured the responsible thing would be to take it to the RSPCA because they assured me that the cat would be seen by a vet and have all the tests necessary to diagnose any possible conditions it may be suffering from, and to rule out any possible means of treatment. Less than an hour after surrendering it, the manager told me that they would be putting it down, even though the cat has not been seen by a vet yet, and no tests have been done on it.They said that although it may have a condition that can be treated, that isn't something they will be doing, despite the fact that I was assured by multiple staff that RSPCA would make sure it sees a vet first, and goes through all the necessary tests to diagnose any possible issues and possible treatments BEFORE deciding weather to put it down. They told me that I can take the cat back and take it to a vet myself to get all that testing done, but that they would not be doing this. total opposite of what I was assured.I took this cat in temporarily as it became homeless when its owner became too old and was moved out, leaving the cat behind. I cared for this cat by helping it gain weight, giving it the best diet possible, a nice place to sleep, and plenty of attention. It was just starting to look like its health was improving, and now RSPCA is just going to pull the plug, and put it down without putting in ANY effort to properly diagnose what, if any conditions it is suffering from.Its age alone is not a reason to put it down. It is around 15" from what I've been told

Excellent experience adopting a puppy. Friendly and caring staff should be congratulated.

The staff here are very knowledgeable and helpful. We went and found the perfect kitten for our family. The dog and cat kennels are always clean and the animals well.looked after. If you are looking for a pet check these guys out.
