I wanted to buy a number of drinks I’m not very familiar with including whisky and brandy so started browsing a bit haphazardly. Before long the delightfully cheerful Nathan approached me to ask if I needed help. I did! Nathan listened carefully to my specs on price range and quality, checked info and reviews online to supplement his own knowledge, and within a few minutes I had selection. perfect for my needs. I’d return to the Thornleigh Dan Murphy’s just for another easy and fun experience with Nathan.

The same typical commercial products.Do you really think you can by good product when it’s all mass produced.When small producers end up In Commercial shops the the mass produced corner cutting products happens once again.Go and find good small family business’s the corporates already own way too much in Australia!

G'day - I love the Thornleigh Dan Murphy's the main store. Good range of products and the staff is friendly. However my interaction with Manish was quite appalling. Rude uncouth mannerless bloke with a poor attitude. Hope there are checks in place and regular training for people like him.

Apparently under 18s aren't allowed to touch alcohol here (even if they're with parents). This place will stop you halfway through paying/scanning items to tell you you can't buy this now an under 18 has touched it."children in fact are NOT meant to help their parents with the shopping but must stand there with no responsibility watching parents struggle with heavy items.thank you to the workers who helped with gin and soju."

Great store, not as big as some but definitely holds their own. Parking upstairs is a bit rough, those ramps take a bit of teamwork. Maybe park out on the road if you can.

Dan Murphy apparently looking for employees. I have attempted to contact the Manager at Thornleigh on 3 separate occasions via email after an initial quick interview. There has been no attempt to reply to my email, although a reply would be considered professional and good managing. The standard of Managing and communicating appears to have disappeared. No wonder they can’t get staff.
