Bay Medical Group

My friend called this Medical Centre yesterday. For context, she had been staying in Salamander Bay since last Tuesday with her brother and her boyfriend. All three of them are from Sydney but not from the 7 listed LGAs that had travel restrictions implemented last week. None of them have been to any of the hotspots that have been mentioned since the 16th June COVID case. They were up there to help my friend's grandmother do some repairs and renovations on the house (one of the boys is a plumber and one is a carpenter). My friend (the granddaughter) was there to accompany them. The boys had some deliveries organised for yesterday and have arrived home today, keeping with the advice for Sydney-siders to return home as soon as possible. They had not been out in the community in Salamander Bay, purely just working on the house and getting amazing, home-made meals from my friend's grandmother. They have all now started their lockdown. Unfortunately, my friend developed a UTI late last week. She said it had gotten quite bad over the weekend and was going to see if she could contact a medical centre to get a prescription for antibiotics. She called two other places, both of which were fully booked so she rang Bay Medical Group. After explaining the situation, including that she was from Sydney and that the appointment wasn't for anything to do with COVID, my friend said that the receptionist laughed at her, and said no one is going to get you an appointment

Very good service

I have had excellent service from this practice over the years, at all their surgeries. The newest one at Salamander Bay is superb!.
